Relax and unwind at this quiet lakefront property between Montague and Stony Lake. Soak in the sunset from the hot tub overlooking majestic Lake Michigan, recline with morning coffee on the large deck, & enjoy the crisp summer night by the fire pit outside. This home is a great get away for families and friends! The newly landscaped back yard will give you the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the views.

This beach house is located directly ON Lake Michigan with its own 125' of private beach front. This lovely beach house house rests atop a small bluff overlooking majestic Lake Michigan on a quiet, residential road. There is even a working organic farm across the street. If you are fortunate enough you might be able to walk to the farm stand and grab fresh farm eggs or organic vegetables.

There is 700 sq. ft. of TREX decking overlooking Lake Michigan with lounge chairs to lay out, an under deck with new sitting areas to enjoy the views in the shade watch the gorgeous sunsets. Lake Michigan sunsets are a work of art that you don't want to miss. There are stairs to the beach and a large beach to thoroughly enjoy the lake!! There are 2 kayaks to use along with two paddle boards. Just bring your own life jackets and you are ready to coast the shoreline. The private beach is around 125 feet with Adirondack chairs and beach towels to enjoy the sunshine. We also have an outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after the beach.

Roosevelt Cottage has 5 large bedrooms (Sleeps 12), with direct views of the lake. The Main floor King bedroom with windows looking out to Lake Michigan and a patio door. Its a great spot to venture onto the deck and enjoy your beverage of choice. You might even spot a bald eagle flying by.

The cottage has 4 full bathrooms 2 on the main floor, 1 upstairs, and 1 downstairs. Other features include a spacious kitchen (all new including appliances) and dining area, living area with large picture windows with a lake view. Bring groceries to prepare in our fully stocked kitchen or venture out to eat at one of the many restaurants and open-air bars in Montague, Whitehall, Mears, Silver Lake, Hart, Pentwater, or Ludington. The Dining area accommodates 8 people at the table and 2-4 at the kitchen counter. A perfect spot to spend time with loved ones, spend a honeymoon, or just rest and recharge.

Each bedroom has their own Smart TV. We have large Smart TV's in the living areas for the rainy day movies. There are lots of games and books to keep you busy on the cloudy days.

We have a fire pit just off the deck and a Sonos speaker system to play your own music! Local wood stands around the area with a short distance from the cottage. New for 2025 is a hot tub available for additional fee. Hot tub seats 6-8 people with jets through out the unit. The 8 foot size should accommodate a family or a few couples at once to enjoy the sunset views. *Additional contract required for usage.

End of June- mid August we rent full weeks only with a turn over day on Saturday. Check available dates through VRBO or message for specific requests.

Please...no pets. Unfortunately due to prior renters we do not rent to individuals attending Electric Forest. We also don't rent through craigslist if you find a listing with our house its a Fraud.
