"Room was better than expected, decent bed and tv. No coffee/tea in the room. Guy behind reception was pretty rude to another guest whilst I was checking in. Other staff were polite. Good stay, nice street with good food/drink options."

"The room was beautiful and clean. The hotel was in a perfect location for walking downtown to restaurants, bars, waterfront. Right across the street from citadel hill. The roof area was beautiful with a hot tub and fire pit. It closes at 9, too bad it wasn’t open a bit later. The valet parking was great but make sure you give them your ticket early just in case you have to wait for your car if it’s busy at the time. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Overall, our stay was okay. The hotel is new and well-maintained, which made a good first impression. The room had a nice amount of space, and the bed was very comfortable — we slept well. However, there was an issue with the hot water one morning. We waited for almost an hour, but unfortunately, the problem wasn't resolved in time, and we had to take cold showers. That was a disappointing start to the day. Aside from that, everything else met expectations."

"When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome."
