"The room was clean and looked like recently renovated. Nice breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the aircon in the room was very poor. Tried to increase the temp to 21 deg from the preset temp of 18 deg as it was -2 outside. It never ever got to 21 deg and in fact I never saw it above 18.5 deg. The fan was extremely noisey so turned it down to minimum but then of course the aircon would not respond to the 21 deg demand."

The room was clean and warm with a separate toilet and shower that worked well. The breakfast was great with a choice of cereal, lots of high quality full english breakfast items and toast with jams. Lots of drink options too with fresh orange juice. Jim the owner has made a special place to stay, even allowing guests to use the dining area outside of...
