About this space
Sega is Swahili for Sega la Asali meaning a honeycomb. Just like the cells of a honeycomb, each of our rooms has a special story to tell. Inspired by Swahili culture and artefacts carefully curated from all over the world, Sega House will make you feel like you have experienced and been part of a different culture.

A luxurious haven, located a 10 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins drive to the airport and 10 mins to Diani shopping centre. Perfect for couples, families, business and groups.
The space
THE LIVING ROOM & LOUNGE AREAS:
There is plenty of space to wine and dine in our bright, airy and spacious living room with a high Swahili style “Makuti” ceiling. Our stylish lounge nook with sprawling cushions makes for the perfect reading area. Our Alfresco dinning area overlooks the garden and makes for a relaxing seating area day and night. Our antique Pakistani door converted into a beautiful dinning table comfortably accommodates eight people. The Lamu dhow ( boat) converted into a bench adds to the ambience of the dinning area. Relax on the Swahili outdoor day bed made to your comfort by talented local artisans.

THE BEDROOMS:
Sega House offers two spacious King size bedrooms with comfortable beds, a working desk, blackout curtains, and plenty of wardrobe and storage space. A third bedroom hosts a 4x6 bed also with plenty of wardrobe space and a ceiling fan. It has two bathrooms, one newly renovated. The house sleeps five people comfortably.

THE KITCHEN:
The kitchen has been tastefully updated with clean open shelves displaying our original Pakistani Multan crockery. A breakfast bar is provided that includes a taste of Kenyan coffee and tea at no cost to our guest. Your cooking needs are all catered for including utensils, a kettle and stainless steel silverware. You have plenty of room to cook with a gas stove and burners as well as a micro wave and an ample sized fridge.

GUEST AMENITIES:
Ceiling fans in all the rooms and air conditioners in the two main bedrooms. Mosquito bed nets, and an ample supply of bed linen and towels. A solar inverter backup system to keep the lights on in case of power outage. Our property manager is available as needed, 24/7 security, free parking, and a daily cleaning service. You can have access to a chef for an additional cost of $30 and a masseuse for $20 per hour. Shampoo and body wash are provided in each bathroom. Extra pillows, linen and bath towels can also be provided upon request. A washing machine is also provided.

THE SWIMMING POOL:
The beautiful pool area is shared with three other houses and is available for guests use at all times. Please leave the pool area as clean and neat as you found it.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the house and private front and back yards. You can check-in at any time, but please let us know of your arrival in advance. Check out is 10:00 a.m. but we will try as much as possible to accommodate requests for late check-out if we do not have other bookings. We also offer transfers to and from the house at an additional cost.
Other things to note
HOUSE RULES:
We have no rules just rules of thumb. We hope you make the most of your stay at Sega House, but please note that this is our home so be respectful of the property and neighbours. We ask that you keep noise to a minimum, especially between 11pm-7am. Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, vapors, marijuana, etc) is not allowed inside the house. Please keep us notified if you have a pet traveling with you as we we will need to notify our neighbours. Our delightful garden also attracts monkeys, we request that you do not feed them.

Located in stunning Diani Beach, voted best African beach six times. Sega House is within close proximity to a myriad of upscale hotels and restaurants with easy access to the beach and plenty of fun activities waiting to be explored.
