"The hotel is like a step back in time but with all modern amenities including an elevator. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, rooms were comfortable, AC worked very well, and restaurant food was very good. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,...
