"My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)"

"We were initially hesitant as the property had no reviews but that's only because Pat is just starting to rent it out, so definitely don't let that stop you. In fact, book now before the word on this hidden gem gets out. The house is immaculate and modern but designed with a lodge feel and many cute details throughout. It is spacious, with several common areas both indoors and outdoors - the pictures simply don't do it justice. One unique feature , which we loved is a separate boathouse turned...

"If you are looking for quiet, water, and a peaceful experience, this house is for you. Even though there are other houses leading into this location, you never hear nor see them. However, go prepared with all your food as the Adirondacks do not have much amenities. "

"Last minute, one night stay to take advantage of the snow while it lasted this season. Price was fair and was the perfect location to just jump on the snowmobile and ride. Cabin is well appointed and cozy - also very clean. Deborah was an excellent communicator and allowed us an early check in. When we had a couple of questions, she answered right away. We will definitely consider staying again."

"The location is beautiful in the Fall and the house is great. Plenty of room. Our weather was great and despite the lower temperature we were able to take one of the rowboats out for a delightful time. We will stay again."

"Property was very clean and just as described. In the listing there isnt pictures of the outside but there is a yard and furniture in case anyone is wondering like i was! The rooms are big & the beds are comfortable. The sourdough was an excellent touch & delicious!"
