The tourist town of Mogán is located in the south of Gran Canaria, in one of the best climatic zones in the whole of the Canary Islands. There are few places in Spain with so many days of sunshine. But Mogán does not only offer sun.

It has beaches with fine sand and numerous places to spend the night.

Puerto de Mogán is the ideal place for those looking for a quiet corner to watch the sun go down after a day at the beach.

Puerto de Mogán is one of the most picturesque and pleasant enclaves on the south side of Gran Canaria. It is an ideal place if you want to stop for something to eat or something to drink, surrounded by colorful houses that merge up to the wharf. Bougainvilleas and hibiscus flowers bloom in the windows; people chat in peace on the terraces of the harbor cafés. Next to the quay is a neighborhood with houses built over small canals, which further enhances the charm of the port area.

Puerto de Mogán has a marina with 225 berths where sailing boats and fishing boats are disorderly mixed, which is reflected in the animated crowd of the cafés. Boats depart from this place every day to show tourists the south coast of the island. This is also where the small tourist submarine leaves with which you can explore the seabed in the area.

The seabed off the coast of Mogán is a small miracle, a public secret among diving enthusiasts. In Puerto de Mogán, underwater photography championships have been held several times and for divers coming to the island, Mogán is a mandatory destination.

There are sunbeds, sunshades, pedalos and canoes for hire and kiosks offering cool drinks and snacks.

Away from the beach is a network of canals and bridges, which is why Puerto de Mogán is often described as ‘Little Venice’. Visitors can enjoy a pleasant stroll around the port, where there is a good selection of shops and superb fish restaurants. 
There are places to park on the road as well as a car park close to the beach. Buses run frequently and there is a taxi rank.
Puerto de Mogán is an area with a marine tradition which because of its unique setting and natural beauty, has evolved into one of the most beautiful urban settlements of the Canary Islands. The marina, where many international sailing enthusiasts converge, has 225 moorings and is an excellent sailing spot, making the port of Mogán an unforgettable place.

For those interested in culture, a walk thorough the streets of the centre is recommended, to see the church of Saint Anthony (Iglesia de San Antonio), built inThe church includes a beautiful wooden carving and statues of Saint Anthony of Padua and the Immaculate Conception.

Gran Canaria has beaches to suit all tastes. From the enormous extension of the Maspalomas dunes to the multitude of bays along the coastline of Mogán. From the lively beach at Las Canteras, to the tiny coves to the north of the island.

In general, visitors should experience few problems travelling in the Canary Islands. The biggest threat Gran Canaria may pose is a bad case of sunburn or a nasty hangover! Regardless of the time of year that you choose to visit Gran Canaria, don't be fooled by cool breezes and cloudy days. Make the most of the glorious sunshine but remember to use a high factor sun lotion and apply it regularly. Also, drink plenty of water to keep hydrated.

This is most definitely NOT a luxury apartment, the pictures are misleading, there is no BBQ, the loungers and seat cushions are also not available as per pictures.There is no onsite carparking as claimed, but one was provided 400m away.The beds although reasonably comfortable have only one small pillow each, there is a safe but not for use by guests.Old and well worn towels are provided, one bath, one hand per person for a week!The apartment is VERY tired, poorly maintained with broken lounge furniture, massage shower not working and poorly sealed, the shower in the second bathroom is hanging loose on the wall and also poorly sealed and mould visible.The washing machine is noisy and unbalanced, being kept away from the wall with two pieces of foam.The local managing agent, to whom we complained multiple times, did nothing but nod, promising to fix the issues, but never did.Avoid this apartment at all costs as you will be disappointed.

mooi appartement, alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig. weinig handdoeken en veel dode planten op balkon. we vonden het een heel fijn appartement in het centrum van het dorp met supermarkt en veel restaurants en winkeltjes heel dicht bij.
