"Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it "

"Overall it was solid and I would definitely stay again. Beautiful views and nice little town in the middle of nowhere. Just a heads up if you are showing up at night it’s a little hard to find. The only reason I didn’t rate it 10/10 is the floors had chunks of mud when we got there and could’ve been cleaned better. Otherwise everything was great!"

"This was a lovely VRBO. Spacious, clean, well stocked and even fresh flowers! Only hitch was due to my map reading skills- while Expedia claimed it was 19 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park it was actually an hour drive away! That said there was some other great hiking nearby (recommend Willow Lake Trail). Thanks for a nice stay!"

"The place is in a lovely location and the management was friendly and responsive. Unfortunately, the property is pretty run down and the cleanliness on check in was lacking. Just a little more upkeep and this would be an excellent rental. FYI, the location is quite remote. The closest gas station, grocery, and restaurant are 20 miles away. Come prepared:)"

"The location is very nice, you’re pretty close the the base of a mountain and have great views. I liked how the room set up was with two bedrooms at opposite ends of the house, each with its own bathroom. It made it more private with the other guest with us. It was super clean and had all the amenities we would need to cook food. The host was very helpful - we had a question and had a quick response. Loved the stay, would definitely stay again. "

"Very clean well done cottages. We’ve stayed there 3 times. The location is very lovely. Our only minor complaint was we were asked mot particularly politely to wash the dishes and put out the trash. There were very few dishes so it was not a big deal. It just made our visit not quite as nice."
