"Staff were very friendly and helpful, great to have a chat with about the area. Accommodation was exactly what we needed and a good choice of dinner options."

"Very nice newly decorated cottage. Very clean and tidy. Easy to find quiet location."

"The pod was cosy with nice outside seating. Gorgeous views from the pod. We were very lucky with the weather. Ideal base for long walks. Dog friendly which was important to us."

"Cheap and basic-really friendly receptionist decent tea and coffee etc- just a bit dated but at price we paid I was happy enough - clean sheets and towels and quiet"

"Great location - approx. 50m from the railway station and 400m from Loreburn Hall, the venue for the gig we went to. Quality breakfast. Lovely B&B - our bedroom had a proper-sized TV, the central lounge was bright and tastefully furnished, the breakfast room had great bay windows and quality furniture. Doonhamer hospitality. Adequate on-site parking."

"A great location with Lovely staff:)"

"Lovely old house, the bedrooms were warm and cosy and the breakfast was exceptional"

"Great stay. Derek and Rena were lovely hosts. Breakfast was great. Overall a very nice stay indeed."

"You get such a warm welcome from the owner, she makes you feel so at home straight away. The rooms we had were so clean and ideal for our stay. The rooms were warm and so quiet. The breakfast was so nicely cooked and tasty. This is a must stop if staying in this locality"

"The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover."

"Ótima localização para quem precisa fazer uma parada e tomar um café da manhã antes de seguir viagem."

"Great room with walk in en suite. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. Delicious breakfast."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Old Rectory. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a 3 week tour of the UK! The host, Dave was lovely. So helpful in recommending local sights, and made a wonderful breakfast and coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic as well, Easy to walk to the High Street, beautiful bridge and walking trails, Annan museum, and restaurants etc. Thank you!"
