There are also plenty of opportunities to take part in water sports or fishing nearby, with the small shingle beach in the village having public access for boats. Nearby sandy beaches include those at Benllech and Lligwy.



There are many interesting visitor attractions close by including the RSBP South Stack Nature Reserve, Anglesey Sea Zoo, historic Beaumaris with its castle and the National Trust’s Plas Newydd.
