Villa Tormalina is an elegant and welcoming villa in a quiet position, surrounded by the Sicilian countryside. It sleeps 13 people. It is approximately 400 square meters (4300 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 14.3 km (8.9 miles) from the historical center of Modica, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the closest restaurant at 3.3 km (roughly 2.1 miles) and a grocery store at 6.8 km (roughly 4.2 miles). You will reach Villa Tormalina from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Tormalina you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises.
Please kindly note. The rental price includes: parking; linens and towels.Available upon request: baby bed. To be paid at the property:final cleaning EUR 400.00;electricity EUR 400.00/week. Tourist tax, paid locally: EUR 2.00 per person per night for the first 7 nights. Guests aged under 18 are exempt. Guests older than 65 are exempt. Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 9 meters (29.5 feet) large by 16 meters (52 feet) long, from 1.5 meters (5 feet) to 3 meters (9.8 feet) deep. It is filled with sea water. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, sun loungers and hammocks. This area is also equipped with armchairs. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery. The pool is open from the beginning of June until the beginning of October.
Patio
The patio is 800 square meters (8610 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees. It is equipped with masonry benches and with a table and chairs. In the patio you will be able to have fun with a ping pong table. Here you will also find a stonework barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery.
Garden
The garden is 1200 square meters (12900 square feet). It is partly shaded by citrus trees and by fruit trees. The garden is equipped with a small sofa and armchairs, as well as with a gazebo. From the garden you will enjoy a charming view of the swimming pool.
Main BuildingLiving Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling is made of wood. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include three sofas, an armchair and a desk. There is a nice fireplace. Here you will find a pool table. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the patio through two French doors.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the kitchen through a stone arched opening. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The dining table can accommodate six guests. From the dining room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a window.
Kitchen 1
You will be able to enter the first kitchen from the living room through an access area. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the patio. The room also has a window.
Kitchen 2
You will be able to enter the second kitchen from the garden through an external access. The ceiling of the second kitchen is sloped and is made of wood. It is very well equipped, with a six-burner gas cooker, a gas oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven and an American-style coffee-maker. There is also a barbecue and a small wood-fired pizza oven. The two dining tables can accommodate 12 guests. The kitchen is also equipped with a satellite television (local channels).
Mezzanine Level
In the corridor you will find an open mezzanine level, without door. You will be able to access it climbing a wooden staircase with 15 steps. The mezzanine is paved with wood. The furnishings of the mezzanine include a sofa, two armchairs and a chaise longue. The ceiling is sloped, is made of wood and has an height of 70 centimeters (2.3 feet) at its lowest point. The mezzanine has a small window.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a wooden matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a jacuzzi bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through an access area. The bedroom has a wooden matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed).
