Edge of the Desert is conveniently located at 1251 Millcreek Drive on the east side of Moab, offering the perfect balance of easy access and peaceful surroundings. Just minutes from the Sand Flats Recreation Area, youā€™ll be close to some of Moabā€™s most iconic outdoor experiencesā€”including mountain biking trails, Fins & Things, and the legendary Hell's Revenge off-road route.

Getting Here

Edge of the Desert is just 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown Moabā€”a quick 3 to 4-minute drive to restaurants, shops, and local attractions.

āœ”ļø Arches National Park is only 5 miles north, with an easy 10 to 15-minute drive to the park entrance.
āœ”ļø Canyonlands National Park (Island in the Sky District) is about 35 miles away, and typically takes 45 minutes to reach by car.

Affordable little place with great trail accessā€¦

Owners greeted us with a hand written letter and homemade cookies. They quickly responded to text message questions and never left us waiting. The place was super clean. Tap water was drinkable. Bed was comfy. The air conditioning kept up with 112 degree temps, which we were so thankful for! Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

Clean and great location just south of town

Loved this ā€œtiny houseā€ thatā€™s a big well appointed permanent trailer. Super clean inside and we used the loft for our clothing and suitcases. Bath is tiny but the water was HOT and plentiful and there were enough towels for us for sure. Appliances all worked well. There was salt, pepper and some oil in the cabinet. We did our food shopping in Price UT at the Walmart and got everything we needed at a low cost. The food stores in Moab are BUSY and small. We slept well every night as thereā€™s a mini split ac in the bedroom wall. The bed was a tad bit saggy in the middle and I found myself crawling to my side a couple times a night but we hiked so much that we were TIRED and it wasnā€™t the end of the world. We needed some toilet paper and trash bags and the owner was super quick to respond and deliver.

Cute tiny house

We had a little issue getting the check email, it they were quick to get back to us and resend the email. We somehow missed it because it didnā€™t come from Vrbo like we were expecting. We were able to get in there when we got there though. The house was super cute, clean and not tiny at all. The little loft was super cute although we didnā€™t need to use it. We didnā€™t use the laundry mat, but loved that it was there if we needed it. We loved how close it was to Arches National park. It took us only about 30 minutes to get to Delicate Arch for a sunrise hike. We canā€™t wait to stay here again.

Great Place to stay in Moab!

We had a great time at this small, but very charming and fun place. It is a perfect place for a couple as well as a small family. Very nice parking and a private yard. Would stay here again and also recommend for a lower cost option than the expensive hotels. The grocery stores were close by as well as some local fare. thanks!

Tiny house living 101

We stayed here 3 nights while exploring Arches and Canyonlands. It was our first tiny house experience and had everything we needed to cook simple meals and prepare or lunches for hiking. It was comfortable and close to town. I would recommend for singles or couples but could get crowded with larger groups.

STUNNING park model!

My friends and I took a road trip out west visiting national parks. We stayed here in Moab while going to the Arches and Canyonlands, and this was our favorite place we stayed! It was so spacious and homey, and we were so comfortable there. Wish we could have had more time staying there! We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know!

Tiny House Retreat!

My wife and I stayed at the Tiny House during our five nights in Moab. The house is located on the south end of Moab, away from the hectic downtown area and in a quiet district with other Tiny Homes. The house was a great retreat for us and had most of the amenities we were looking for. The house is clean and comfortable and equipped with all the important things to make your stay enjoyable. Nice shower too! This is a Tiny House, so be prepared for small spaces, but nothing you can't manage. There were times when my wife and I were "running into each other," but overall the experience was very good and we slept good and woke up feeling ready for a busy day in Moab. Thanks for letting us stay at the Tiny House!

Tiny Home Experience.

This is a cute little house that had everything we needed for our trip to Moab. It is in a perfect location for visiting Arches and Canyonlands. Check in was simple and the communication was great. We would stay again if we come back to Moab.

Great property!

Super cute, great location, host provides you with everything you need ( shampoo, conditioner, lotion). The road noise was loud at times but thatā€™s the only drawback. Iā€™d recommend this property!

Comfy, clean, nice neighborhood, & close to everything

Booking was a breeze, ower answered all questions I had. Property is just off main road and well lit if you arrive at night. Full cable, wifi, and kitchen. 4 adults may be hard but doable. But 2 adults and 2 youger kids is perfect. Love the stay.

We enjoyed the stay in this tiny home. It is very close to the main Moab Jeep trails and not far from arches national park. We appreciated all of the amenities, including the kitchen with plenty of dishes and utensils. The home was very clean, and comfortable.
