"The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. "

"The cabin was cozy, private, and clean. We enjoyed spending time inside, offline, and fishing in the nearby pond. It's a great home base for enjoying Shenandoah and near excellent hiking routes. It was a great stay. "

This lake Anna house provided us all of the amenities that we could hope for, with a group of 14, including children ranging from 1 - 13. The sizable kitchen and dining room are great for large groups, and having a living room room upstairs and downstairs also helps create spacious and different environments. "We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all."

Ken and Debra are the ultimate hosts, and the word I would use to describe the property and amenities is “Plenty.” There was more than enough towels, blankets, condiments, equipment, movies, supplies, etc. if you needed it, chances were it was there in duplicate and an extra flavor to boot! Thank you for a memorable stay. We enjoyed it immensely!!"

"This was such a wonderful property in a nice location on the lake. The house has been recently renovated and has modern amenities and decor. A screened in patio to relax on, sprawling property down to the lake and the boathouse including a nice fire pit, and a parking lot that can easily accommodate two vehicles or a vehicle and a small trailer. It's nestled into a corner of the lake so you only have neighbors to one side, and everything was very quiet and peaceful. This was an excellent choice...

"House and property were exactly as represented on line. So much to do at house ( game room, lawn games and fire pit) as well as at boat house ( kayaks, paddle boards, swimming off dock) and just enjoying deck and outdoor space. A good time was had by entire family!"

"The house was perfect for our large family. The kitchen is huge and accommodated our cooks just right. The rooms were very roomy and comfortable. We did have a little problem finding the towels and wash clothes as they were all in one closet. We are looking forward to visiting again next year for a family gathering.Our host Tom was great! No waiting for response and always very helpful and friendly!"

"We had three families sharing the house for a long weekend on the lake. It was a great size for our group of 11, with plenty of space for everyone. Mark (the owner) was especially responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and staying in touch throughout for any questions/issues.The house has great lake access on a quieter area of the lake with ample space for boat tie ups at the dock. We very much enjoyed our stay!"
