"Avoid this place if you like a clean and well maintained hotel. The carpet in our room was disgusting and so worn that it was worn through with a large hole in it. There was a loose 12x12 tile right by the tub and it wiggled when you step on it. The ice machines are broken, and you have to get ice from the desk staff, who seem to be bothered by the inconvenience of one bucket of ice. "I have to say this I was pleasantly surprised with our first ever stay at a My Place hotel. Normally, I do not book hotels without breakfast. This was in a location along our road trip. I think it might have been one of the cleanest hotels we stayed in along our 3 week road trip. Even though I like a morning breakfast, I was okay without it. They do provide coffee. "Comfortable bed and pillow. AC fan was noisy but kept the room comfortable. Great washer & dryers.
I was not pleased that the side of the building doors and the back of the building door was not locked after 10pm. There were key insert boxes at those doors but not used. Anyone - guest or not a guest could enter the property 24 hours a day. I didn't feel comfortable about that.
There was a nice hot breakfast with coffee and juices."
