"This is a small private motel located Lin the countryside approximately 2 miles away from downtown Stratford. It is extremely quiet with a secluded pool that is warm and inviting with a comfortable water temperature. The rooms are reasonably large with all modern amenities, including large, flat screen TVs, refrigerators and Kurtis coffee machines. Though the building dates from an earlier time it has been meticulously maintained and the staff is dedicated to the comfort, quiet and privacy...

"No staff on site. Room code didn't work, number to call only went to voice mail. Managed to get someone on the line to remote open our room door. There was no available restaurant or lounge on site. Screaming kids on our floor. No one at checkout to talk to. Room was very nice, but no service to speak of."

"Convenient location. Parking close to all rooms. Separate entrances so you don't always have to go through the lobby. Very large room!"

"Staff was friendly during check-in and check-out, very quick, too. The room was large and clean. Beds were queen sized. There was a microwave and a refrigerator. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was updated. Shampoo and soap, and hair dryer were provided. Location was excellent, on the road out of town, and 5 minutes from downtown. The one improvement I would like to see is a coffee maker in the room."

"The Windsor Hotel is a lovely older building with much charm. While the rooms could use a little sprucing up, they were clean and well equipped. We had the apartment suite. It was perfect for a family event. My children & family were in 2 other rooms. Lots of room for the 11 of us to get together to share meals and family fun. Loved having a kitchen to prepare breakfast and snacks for us all. The staff was absolutely the best. So attentive and very friendly. All our request were quickly tended...

We have used this property before and the location can not be beaten. My only issue is there was a hold for the full stay amount plus an additional $200 for room charges. Then on check out we were charged the room rate amount. It has now been 7+ days and the fairly large hold is still pending. It is frustrating to have to review and confirm the amount is still not...

"The Mercer hotel is located right downtown. The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable too! The restaurant attached to the hotel has a lovely patio with great food and drinks. I would definitely stay here again!"
