We have the perfect blend for a fantastic holiday in our beautiful part of the world The open plan living, kitchen and dining is light and spacious with windows on the Northern side to the nature reserve and through large glass sliders on the beach side to the tiled verandah for entertaining. From the verandah you have a few steps down your private access then straight out to the beach. Great to keep an eye on the kids on the beach while enjoying a cold drink on the verandah. Beach House Apartment No 7 offers a main bedroom with glass sliders that lead onto the beachfront verandah. Relax in the ensuite bath and gaze through the timber bi folds out to the Coral Sea for the romantics amongst us. You have bedding for another four guests in two further bedrooms with a queen plus twin configuration and second bathroom with separate toilet/laundry. Beach House Apartments have a great pool facility with plenty of space and large shade sail to keep the sun off. Whether you wish to relax by the pool, have a couple of drinks on the verandah or browse the shops you will find this property with this position, suites perfectly….. WONGALING BEACH NEIGHBOURHOOD Wongaling Beach is considered by locals to be the central hub of the Mission Beach area. It offers a large range of the exclusive and sought after absolute beachfront accommodation on Reid Road and Koda Street. Beachfront properties are also available on Banfield Parade being across the road from the beach. The small shopping village at Wongaling Beach (easy to identify thanks to the Big Cassowary sculpture) has a few speciality shops. There is a drive in bottle shops at Mission Beach Resort. Adjacent to this complex is Woolworths which also has the Bendigo Bank, ECU a smaller Bottle shop. The supermarket is closed on Sundays. There is a chemist and medical center. You can also find the service station – open 7 days - at Woolworths complex. ANZ and Westpac ATM’s are situated within Woolworths. Dining out in Wongaling Beach – Mission Beach Resort offers bistro style dining, Nana Thai offers fab Thai food and there are a couple of Italian cafes to choose from. The Mission Beach Dunk Island Water Taxi departs from the beach on Banfield Parade. The trip to Dunk Island takes approximately 10 mins. There are numerous departures throughout the day. It is recommended to have a car when staying at Wongaling Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach. Riding along the beach is a real treat.
