"Excellent hotel on the beach. Very nice clean room. Staff are very helpful and kind. Would definitely come back."

"Absolutely lovely. Felt like I was staying with family. Quick walk to the gorgeous beach, next to a beautiful shrine, and a short walk from a delicious Ramen place. Not to mention the Onsen!!! What a magical experience it was to enjoy the outdoors and soak. And last but not least the breakfast! Felt like my mom made me lunch for the day. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the area."

"The views are amazing, but the property is quite dated and if you look around the vents and ac you can see lots of dust and mold"

"I had a great nights sleep here. I would visit again."

"Beautiful traditional property."

"Very nice small Hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed at the annex and had a nice room with a balcony and a lovely view."

More than 500 dollars for my son. This was not expected. I asked to leave in that case and they said they would still charge me the whole amount. Do not book this...

"Wonderful stay at a quiet hotel in Shimoda. A little dated and a little far away from the main town but beautiful views, helpful and friendly staff and an amazing ocean view onsen. My partner and I got a traditional Japanese room which was very spacious and comfortable."
