"We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Castillo. The terrace had an amazing view of Arenal volcano, and we saw so many birds in the backyard. It was amazing to have coffee in morning and watch clouds roll through valley and listen to birdsong. "The property and experience were unforgettable. It all started with the most hospitable and helpful host, Emel. He made us feel welcome and even helped us get pizza delivery to the glamping tent. The tent is immaculate and the perfect window to the amazing greens and blues that mark the gorgeous horizon. The bathrooms and showers were flawless and kept you integrated with nature. "The team was fantastic!! Beautiful property. They were a super understanding and accommodating team! William was extremely welcoming and hand great recommendations, Jorlan found the coolest wildlife on the hike, and Anderson was extremely attentive. "The owners were lovely and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom cabin which was ideal for us with 2 young children. It had a well equipt kitchen. We did have a few ants coming in but when we told the owner they came down to spray the cabin. Great having a pool at the property for unwinding after a busy day in nature. The town was a 5 minute drive and it was really easy and cheap to get taxis there. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. Each room had an individual bathroom with shower that had good pressure. The view of the arenal volcano was breath taking and the pool was a perfect way to stay cool down in the heat. "Overall we loved staying here. There was just enough room for our group of 10 (7 adults and 3 kids aged 4-17). The views of the lake and the volcano are absolutely breathtaking, and the house is situated on a beautiful property surrounded by jungle, so we saw lots of birds right off the porch.
