Would not stay here again!
We have stayed in Villa Lago before and enjoyed our stay so much that we booked at yours thinking we’d have the same experience. Day 1, we found that the refrigerator and freezer were broken not allowing us to cook meals at the villa, or have ICE for the hot days! Though they brought a small fridge (day 2) as a back up, it was inefficient and barely got cold. We couldn’t feed meals for us to make for meals, leading to extra expense of eating out. Day three we were going to use the oven to make dinner and it didn’t work, so day three was dinner on stove and air fryer. What a pain!! We hit the breaker switch daily to get things going. All this to say that this unit should not be rented unless all appliances are in good working condition or replaced. All of them. Coffee maker and microwave not user friendly, either. Needless to say, we paid over 5k and did receive a less than 10% refund when our vacation should have been covered with all the headaches we had. No one offered though, and I had to ask for what we did receive as compensation. Worse family vacation ever. Property management would text and make things better and at least were responsive for the moment, but there is no way to get the frustration and that family time back. We get one week a year to be together. All left unhappy and stressed vowing we’d never xome back. Needless to say, sorry we won’t be returning nor will we recommend to anyone.
