Loved our dog friendly place

Really enjoyed our stay at the house. We loved all the stores , restaurants, and all the live entertainment. It was so nice being able to access everything on the golf cart.

Comfortable Villa

Villa inside was clean and tidy. The front entrance was not inviting. Needs a good cleanup. Outside deck was awesome, but the surrounding creek was stagnate and dirty. The area of the creek off the deck needs to be dredged and overgrown area cleaned. No see ums and mosquitos ate us up. This would be a place we would love to go back too as it was clean inside and conveniently located. Two king beds and nice kitchen. Wouldn’t consider though unless the back creek area was cleaned. Don’t know if this is golf course problem or the Sandestin Community but it should be done.

Very pleasant stay and exactly as described...would rent again!

Everything about the unit was pleasant and exactly as described. Would definitely rent again when searching for a dog-friendly stay at the beach. We just have one small Italian Greyhound, and were thankful the unit had no smell of being inhabited by dogs (I am a bit of a clean freak). The included golf cart was very handy for getting around the resort and made it up to the max speed limit which was a plus too. One thing we noticed was that sometimes after starting it and putting in reverse nothing happened. Turning off and back on fixed. We have stayed within Sandestin several times in the past so knew what to expect with the resort itself. One word of caution to anyone who hasn't been to this resort - the beach in the prime summer months is PACKED to the point it was almost unenjoyable. Nothing against the rental itself for this comment - more of a comment against the resort for trying to pack thousands of people onto one small beach that is mostly covered with rental chairs that no one was using. Came back to our chairs and umbrella after going to lunch for about 1/2 hour to find another family basically set up under our umbrella and no space for us to even move our chairs into the shade of our own umbrella. It was crazy and the worst we have ever seen it on a beach along the gulf. We live only 2 hrs away so didn't want to make a big deal as it was obvious the people around us were from the north on vacation. But still... was a bit of an annoyance to say the least.

Great location - could use updating

Our stay was great, check in was super easy. Just find for the price that there could be some updates to the rental. There is no lighting in the second bedroom except for two small lamps and no ceiling fan. The golf cart pictured is not what you get. Pictured is a 6 seater, you get a 4. Some of the boards on the back deck and patio could be replaced as well. Overall, the location is great and it was a nice stay.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We stay in San Destin regularly and as such have stayed in several different properties. This was our first time with this particular management company and we were very impressed. The communication and extras were much appreciated. This location was very clean and well appointed. The property seems older than others and some features are dated. We came at a busy time and parking in the cul-de-sac was somewhat frustrating, our sidewalk entrance was blocked several times by adjacent tenants. This is more a comment on the thoughtlessness of others than it is about this property. We would stay here again and will certainly look at other properties managed by the same company.

Spacious rental close to everything

Condo has great porches on front and the back. Comfortable bed, large well stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood. Back porch overlooks water with the golf course on the other side. Nice beachy decor.

Charming but outdated

The condo was clean enough and in a nice location. The sofas and kitchen chairs were stained. The general appearance of furnishings were outdated. The worst part was the WiFi. Poor cell phone reception combined with terrible WiFi made looking things up (activities, dinner reservations etc) very frustrating. Lastly, the golf cart that came with the property was dirty and only sat 4 people. We were a party of 6 (family of 5 with one dog) so this made traveling around the resort a bit difficult.

Linkside stay in Sandestin

We had a great time. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing that gave this 4 stars was the view outside the deck. The golf course had drained the water and there was a pump right outside our deck. Otherwise all was great.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We came for the wine festival and this place had great views of water and Golf. The golf cart was very nice to have access to which helped a lot getting to and from the festival. We would love to stay here again.

Relaxing cottage on golf course with pond and huge deck

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean, carpet free, pet-friendly cottage. The large open kitchen made meal prep a joy, the screened sun porch and huge deck overlooking the pond and golf course was perfect for relaxing anytime of day. The golf cart made trips to the beach a breeze! Would stay again!

Sandestin getaway cottage

This cottage in Linkside Village in Sandestin (on the bayside) was exactly what we wanted in a place for our family. We have young children and we loved the back deck overlooking the pond and golf course. We saw lots of ducks and other birds. The golf cart was included in our stay which allowed for us to get to the heated pool, playgrounds and the wharf easily. This cottage is in a cul-de-sac which also gave our children extra space to play. We loved everything about this place. It was very clean, the updates done in the place were nice, and the property manager (Barb) was very easy to talk with and accommodating to all the questions I asked. Would definitely love go back!

Had everything we needed. It was fun sitting ion the deck and screened in porch watching the golfers hit balls into the pond as they came down 18. The ducks and the turtles were fun to watch too!

Perfect beach stay.

Bottom line, we love the area. Get there unpack and never leave with the help of the golf cart. Unit is perfect for us. The unit is not new but everything you need. It’s very clean, everything in working order, and plenty of room.
