Not as advertised. Its in a great neighborhood, but this place is poorly maintained. We arrived to dead roaches. Master ceiling fan broken. Hall bath toilet doesn't flush. Carpets and baseboards are dirty. Rental rates and cleaning fees should reflect the quality of the property, and in this case they do not. Do not recommend.

Someone's dog apparently scratched up the door frame. Repair is just a thick coat of paint.

Repeat Sandcastle Vaca'rs

Our second booking at the Charming Sandcastle Cottage did not disappoint. As before, check-in went smoothly, kitchen stocked with basic start ups, as well as extra paper good necessities left behind from prior guest. Super clean, which is #1 on my list, with cleaning supplies available if you feel the need to tidy up. Comfy beds, nice open family room to spread out and enjoy movie or family games. There's a nice patio set if you want to chill outback, as well as propane grill(always good to check the tank before you shop for those steaks and burgers).Very kid and pet friendly home. Jessica, the property manager was amazing. Responded quickly to our txt messages, took care of any issues we experienced, and respected our family time. Looking forward to our next family trip to Miramar and stay at the Sandcastle Cottage!

Cozy Beach House

Our family enjoyed our stay in this cozy little beach house. The location was fabulous. Beach was easy to access. Host is responsive and does a fantastic job keeping home clean and stocked with all of the necessities plus some. We have visited this area for over 15 years and this home is now one of our new favorites. Looking forward to future trips!

Great Place to Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was as described, and it was well stocked with everything we needed. Great location and easy walk to beach. We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. It was also nice having beach equipment in the garage. Much more than we used!Thanks for a great week.

Clean, fully stocked, amazing

We had an incredible time staying at this property. My partner, daughter, friend and dog stayed for a week. Jessica was so helpful with tips and info. The kitchen is literally the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental I have ever stayed in. And we usually have a love/hate relationship with our trips because mattresses are usually terrible. This master bedroom mattress was soooo comfortable. The heated pool and hot tub in the community were excellent. The area is great. This is hands down one of the best vacation experiences we have had. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves heading back to NW FL.

Thanksgiving 2024

We decided to come to the beach for the Thanksgiving holiday, our family of four plus fur baby found this gem, we love the Miramar Beach area and Maravilla is our favorite . We absolutely loved the home, it had everything we needed and then some. So close to everything. Very memorable stay

My family had such a great time staying at this property. Like many of the reviews say, the host was very friendly and there are so many generous amenities. The Maravilla resort amenities are not all that... the pool is smaller with no shade and the workout facility is underwhelming. The property, itself is also in need of some updates - fresh paint and better lighting. The location is great and it's so nice to know you will have a spot reserved on the beach. All in all we had a great time!

Family vacation

Absolutely loved staying here. The house was nice and the owner made sure there were extras available (toothbrushes, Q-Tips, soaps, etc.) in case you forgot something. The walk to the beach was not bad at all. Perfect week!!

Destin Hidden Gem

They thought of everything. Host was Very accommodating. Gated, Perfect location, amenities, beach, shopping. This was a PERFECT best priced HOME for a family trip to a resort destination. The owners guest guide book covered all questions!! Would absolutely stay again if on vacation in Destin or Miramar Beach. Thanks again to the host!

Amazing Hosts

Hosts were amazing. Property was super convenient to everything. Having the 2 beach chairs and umbrella was a very nice perk. Not having to lug those things to the beach was great. The host was extremely responsive and helpful with everything! Thank you!

Wonderful summer vacation!

This was our first vacation in Destin and we had a great time with our three daughters. Very nice house in a great location with private beach and plenty of beach supplies. We would definitely stay again. The host is very responsive and answered all our questions very quickly.

Great Thanksgiving Stay

This house was great for our family holidays. Pet friendly and had everything you would need for a beach trip. Enjoyed the space as well as the amenities for this location The pool was heated and the hot tub was nice for our November stay. It’s close to everything and the beach access was awesome too! We will definitely be back!

All-around great!

This was our second time to visit here, and it was just as enjoyable as the first! Everything was thoughtfully provided down to games, bicycles, laundry detergent, beach chairs and more! Jessica is also very gracious and responsive!

Perfect spring break spot!

We really enjoyed this comfortable home. The houses on the street are close together, yet it was very quiet and peaceful around us. We chose to drive when going to the beach, just because of the stuff we like to bring along with us. Happy times for our family including our 13 years old dog!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for us for the week. Lots of space to spread out, all the little touches of home (including grapefruit spoons in the kitchen!). Jessica is a host that truly cares for her guests and was very responsive. I hope we can return some day!

Great for family with pets

The home fit our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious living room area and the fact that it is pet friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. They had everything you could need for a fun day at the beach. The only thing we could have used more of was towels and wash cloths. We will definitely stay here again if it is available.
