Cute little efficiency

Rented for 3 nights with my wife for our 22nd anniversary. Was plenty of room for the 2 of us. Pros: room had a great view from the 14th floor. Coffee maker in room (bring filters) and mini fridge and 2 burner stove and microwave. Shower pressure was great!!! Bed comfortable. 2 beach chairs set up for us each morning definitely a plus!! Beach is beautiful!!Cons: a bit out dated in my opinion. Room could use a paint job. Only 19 people allowed in the pool for a 16 floor building. (They actually came out and kicked everyone out of pool because there were more than 19 in there). Ice machine on lower level cost 25 cents for ice. Walkable to a gas station for beer and a few restaurants. (1/2 mile to mile walk) A mile away from a grocery store. Parking for any restaurant off the road very difficult in June. We rented a car and explored all the way down 30A in one direction and Destin in the other. Having a car a plus!Do the crab island tour!!Overall it was a great getaway for 3 days with my wife.

Elevator issues

Property is well located and we enjoyed the stay with the exception of inoperable elevators. When you are on the 14th floor and the only option is stairs it is quite concerning. At one point there was no elevator option for a period. During our 4 night stay at least one of the 2 elevators were inoperable at all times.

All staff is super friendly and helpful! The access to the beach and the views were amazing and the restaurant on site was so yummy! I will definitely be back highly recommend staying here

Weekend Stay

The pictures are a little deceiving. The pictures seem to have been taken when it was first renovated. The balcony is very outdated. The room is very clean and was good for a few nights. The most frustrating thing was the lack of parking. We had to park on the street one night that didn’t allow parking overnight. Chairs were included with the room so that was really nice. If you need a place to stay for a couple of nights this is nice but I wouldn’t stay for a week

Wonderful location , BUT

Enjoyed out time in Miramar Beach, but the rental was not kept up. There was only ONE spoon in the silverware drawer, only 1 drinking glass and 1 wine glass, the toaster toasted only ONE side of the bread, the shower temperature was impossible to regulate. It was either hot, or cold, the valve that mixes the water didn’t work, so we could not get a warm shower. The kitchen sink had no stopper, so you couldnt wash dishes,so we had to go to lowes and buy one, the mattress was way too firm to sleep on, the plastic patio furniture was old and brittle, and the table literally shattered. Other than that, we really enjoyed the view and the beach. The staff was very friendly and made the checkin and checkout very easy for us. We’ll stay at Surfside again in the future, but not in this unit.

Fun weekend getaway

Great weekend getaway. Met up with friends for a wedding. Hit up several local restaurants and bars- all within walking distance. The beach was beautiful. The unit doesn’t come with beach towels though, which isn’t horrible, but would have been a nice addition since we were limited on luggage space.

Nice vacation condo ! The view was awesome, best ever ! Clean condo, big shower, kitchenette with stove top. We had a great time , workers were very helpful with questions asked. Comfortable bed , you want be disappointed

Beach trip

I loved our stay here. We had a late check in and they made the process very easy. Cute studio condo. The view was breathtaking ! i would definitely stay here again.

Expected more.

Received a text saying our rooms ready room was ready and we qualified for early check-in. Unload the car , 14th floor and code doesn’t work. Called, they say your check it isn’t until four of the code will work then. It’s two hours early. Corporate sends out those messages about the early check-in. Patio furniture was taken out of the dumpster for sure. Replace it. Ewww. Mattress Pad was moldy and stained in multiple areas. Creepy man Living in the parking garage all day. Charging his phone smoking weed sleeping in his car, my husband told the front desk around 10 he was there for two hours. Three hours later I went to the front desk and said he still there at 8 PM at night the man still there. We moved our car and bikes. desk said some employees hang out all day There were seven cars with no parking passes in the private ramp. we couldn’t get into the beach because we did not have are welcome packet, it was not put in the late arrival box. We were early check-in actually!

Room was exactly as pictured.

We’ve stayed in this building a couple times before except a different room. The view is always amazing. The room was clean. A little sand on the floor but that should be expected since it’s right on the beach. We love this area. Family friendly. This location (SanDestin) is perfect for us since we mainly just want to be at the beach. To drive into Destin for water activities like dolphin tours, snorkeling and parasailing, the traffic is heavy and takes a chunk of your day going back and forth. So be prepared for using a whole day for those things. Surfside’s location is close to Baytown Wharf. Nice place for shopping and restaurants. There are also a couple of antique shops in the area. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance from Surfside. Whales tales is really good!! I think most couples will be very happy with this room and the location of this very beautiful beach. We can’t wait to go back!! Our only complaint is our codes for the room and beach access did not come in email or text to us the morning of arrival as we were told. We received those messages a few hours after we checked in at our 4:00 arrival time . The front desk was able to give us that information so it all worked out ok.

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I wanted a tropical beach getaway for our anniversary without stressing over flights/airports. We live in Atlanta, so the 5 hour drive is extremely doable and we gain an hour with the time change. The location was perfect. Literal steps from the beach! And when we weren’t at the beach, we had the most incredible beach view from our unit. We saw pods of dolphins numerous times! The only “down sides” (def not dealbreakers) are the laundry facilities are on the lobby level only and the toaster in the unit didn’t work. Like I said, not anywhere close to being deal breakers. We had an amazing, relaxing time. Also, for those who like this information, the water pressure in the shower is excellent!

Amazing View

My boyfriend visited for a quick weekend getaway. This resort is in a great location. On the beach and close to shopping and places to eat. The room is small (especially the bathroom) but enough space for 2 people. But what the room lacked in size, the view made up for it. The ocean fron view was spectacular. My only negative would be that the unit and the entire resort could use some updating. Especially the bed in the unit. Very uncomfortable and squeaky. But I would stay here again

Great location and stay. Minor issue but they fixed it.

This is in a great location. Very nice room for a couple. Perfect views! Had no hot water the first night but after a couple of calls the next morning they had it fixed within a couple hours.

Loved the view

Wonderful beach view from the balcony and overall clean and nice room. The shower is pretty spacious for the room size. The only downside for our stay was that the microwave and fridge power went out for some reason, but the maintenance team was really nice and brought us another microwave for our stay. I imagine they will get the fridge and microwave fixed before next renting the space out.
