6 Bed Tropical Pool Home - Huge Pool, Jacuzzi, Ping Pong, Pool Table, Foosball, Biggest Yard

My wife and IĀ own many vacation rentals in the area. 6 Bedroom, 7 Bedroom homes. Right across from the beach with amazing amenities. Out of all the homes this one is by far my personal favorite. This yard is the best yard of any of the homes in the area. Only two blocks to the beach, it has a huge pool, jacuzzi, grass area, outdoor patio, and everything you need. It is an amazing luxury paradise. Also it is the largest single story home in the area and that works out great because our child is special needs and sometimes grandparents visit who love the single story feature.

Also just recently in 2023 the following was installed:

-A brand new outdoor gazebo with outdoor kitchen and barbeque and bar area to seat up to 8 people in the backyard with an all weather outdoor television.
-New pavers in the backyard with a new fire pit, pool basketball court and outdoor ping pong table
-Brand new luxury outdoor polywood all weather outdoor furniture
-An indoor movie theater with 110 inch screen in the living room area. It will come down from the ceiling through a retractable screen and has 7.1 all channel surround sound.
-A brand new all weather outdoor pool table to go along with the all weather ping pong table and foosball table.

Enjoy playing ping pong, pool or foosball outside, hopping in the hot tub, or swimming in the huge heated swimming pool. Most pools in the area are less than half the size of this one! They are like Vegas sitting pools. This is a full size swimming pool for all the family or families to enjoy.

The house is a perfect blend of luxury and beachey feel. It has six bedrooms and four baths and an awesome kitchen and living room area. Three separate screen doors lead out to the backyard.

There are five separate queen and king bedrooms and one bunk bed room with four full beds. It sleeps 18 comfortably. We get a lot of questions about layout of the home so here it is:

1) On one side of the home are two queen bedrooms who both share a hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
2) In the front of the house there is a king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that has a shower.
3) On the other side of the home is a king master with ensuite bathroom with a separate tub and a separate shower.
4) In the other area of the home are two bedrooms, a bunk room that has two queen bunks (which is four queen beds), and a queen bedroom. These two bedrooms have a jack and jill bath with a tub/shower combo. These two bedrooms are good for teenagers, kids, or a family that will have kids in one room and adults in the other. There is a separate entrance to this room in the front of the house also.

You should see the review book for this house! Everyone, and I mean everyone, who comes here always raves about the yard and loves the tranquility and size and beauty of the backyard. This house is absolutely amazing.

Pool heating available upon request for $50 per day.

Pack and play and high chair available upon request.

HIGH SEASON REFUND POLICY: If you wish to cancel we will attempt the dates and will refund you what we book it for. With enough lead time we should be able to rebook for 100% of what you paid. VRBO does not enough more than a 60 day window of time for cancellations and within 60 days we may not be able to rebook the exact same timeframe for your reservation. If you need to cancel please make sure to contact us as soon as possible so we can rebook the time period. Guests often book a year in advance with many guests that is why a short refund policy that vrbo has just doesn't work.

COVID POLICY: Should the house be unavailable due to a government imposed shutdown, you would get a 100% refund.

DAMAGE PROTECTION: There is a $59 fee included in your reservation that covers you up to $1500 in accidental damages.

**GOLF CART: We have a fleet of discounted golf carts for our homes. We bought them because rental companies were charging $165/day. We offer them for between $300 and $495 per week (+taxes and processing), depending on time of year. They are six-seater electric luxury golf carts with leather and outdoor built-in outdoor speakers for playing music. If interested, please inquire regarding availability.

**Pets: we are open to hosting your furry friends. However, please inquire before booking. Pet fee is $150 per stay.

**Travel Insurance for weather is not recommended during June-October season because if there is an evacuation that is the only time they would refund you but if there is an evacuation I would refund you anyway.

Fun Family Vacation

The house was very roomy and a great place for our family to enjoy vacation. We especially loved the outdoor area. We spent many afternoons and evenings at the pool and played ping pong, pool and cornhole. Having a high chair and a pack n play for our granddaughter was also very accommodating. Beach chairs, beach towels and toys were also greatly appreciated!

This Property is Simply NOT a 10/10 All Things Considered

Let's start with the good. When we asked the 7 kids in our party, ages 7 - 16, what they would rate it, they all gave it a 9 out of 10 or better. The backyard is pretty much as great as they say it is, the location in relation to the beach was stellar, and the golf cart was awesome. Here are the concerns that ALL 6 adults in our group had (our ratings ranged from a 3 to a 6):*The couches in the living room are gross and desperately need replacement. This house indicates it can sleep 18, however, it can only seat 5-6 people in the living room. When you taut a movie theatre, that is just ridiculous. This place is begging for a giant sectional. *When we arrived, we advised them of broken Trex(?) walkways in the front and back, that the basketball hoop in the pool was taped up and ready to fall apart, and that the indoor fireplace was not working so we were asking how to get it working - their response in 3 minutes time was "the fireplace doesn't work". That was it.*We asked where the vacuum was and didn't hear back for 48 hours (after which 2 texts and 2 VRBO messages had been sent about it). They did send one over eventually.*The hot tub would not stay at temp after the second day even though we were keeping it covered. They sent someone to fix but it never went over 99.*There is not enough hot water for 13 guests.*The dryer needs to be replaced. We would run it for hours and hours just to dry towels.My review is limited in length by VRBO so those are the big things.

The property was great for our family of 6 adults and 6 kids. The outdoor space was particularly good for boys age 11 to 14 and the younger girls. The pool had a basketball hoop, there was pool table and ping pong tables and bean bag game. The adults enjoyed the outside bar and TV and the gas fire pit. The inside of the house also suited our needs well.

This house and the location were great for our crew! Ranging from age 50 to 12. Everyone loved the backyard area. The pool, hot tub, tiki bar with grill and tv, pool table and ping pong table were a hit. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The kids loved having golf carts to get around. Definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful home

This house, and especially the pool and backyard area, provided a wonderful place for our large family to hang out and enjoy each other's company. The kids--ages 2 to 11--had a great time playing in the pool and the adults liked the hot tub an other outdoor games. The property is a short walk to the beach and, with a golf cart, easy to manage getting a variety of kids and stuff back and forth. The property manager was great in communicating with us and taking care of any concerns we had. My only issue--and one that wasn't within the manager's ability to deal with--were the many large properties around the house filled with college kids on spring break--many of whom played their music loudly and late into the night.

This property was as stated. Had a great time, especially in the outdoor area. Glad that we had the pool heated, because the weathers was cooler than normal. Also, glad we got the optional golf cart. Freya and Michael were very helpful! There are some property issues that need addressed though. The walkway needs repaired, a few of us stumbled on it. The bath in the bunk room needs all lights working. Some remotes need batteries. The cover on the Hot tub really needs replaced along with the assist bracket. (We didnā€™t contact management about this while we were there though.). Overall we had a wonderful stay and would stay there again!

First family trip to Destin

To start off our vacation we got to check in a little early which was a plus. The place was overall nice but not enough adequate seating for 8 adults in the living room. The living room furniture was reliable but looked to need replaced soon as the furniture seemed to be peeling. There was adequate amount of bedrooms for a family. Although the beds seemed to have flattened pillows and one of the rooms (the room off of the bunk bed room) seemed to have a broken down bed, so the mattress was slanted. The pool was very nice, tons of pool toys and kept very clean but a little warning when people come to clean the pool/ cut the grass would be nice! Overall our vacation was very nice. The communication and response time was EXCELLENT when we needed new sheets and a blender replaced. Would stay again!

Best family oriented vacation house

Our family goes on vacation every year. We range from 5 to 65 years old. This was our 3rd time to Destin but our first time staying in this house. Hands down the best place we have stayed at. The location to the beach, restaurants and shops is great. Everything is walkable but I am glad we paid extra for the golf cart. It made going to beach easier with all the stuff you take to beach. Itā€™s at the end of street and it feels private. The backyard looks exactly like the pictures you see which is not always the case for some houses. Itā€™s a ranch so no steps. It slept our 15 comfortably. The owner was very responsive to our needs and questions. When we go to Destin again, would would not hesitate to stay here again.

Overall house worked great. Was a little disappointed with the outside space. Pool had a lot of sand in the bottom and although they "cleaned" it twice the week we stayed did not really seem like they cleaned it. The cleaners left the hot tub open each time they "cleaned" it and in fact we never used it because it seemed dirty and the cover was broke. The yard was very poorly taken care of so it made it difficult for the dog because he kept getting burrs stuck all over him. There was a huge rat that kept showing up so maybe taking better care of the yard would help. We never cooked in the home, but the oven appeared very dirty. The carpet in the bunk room/extra room is dirty and all the rugs in the house seem very dirty and need washed. The rest of the house seemed good and we enjoyed the layout of the home. We kept running out of hot water, but liked the 4 bathrooms. We enjoyed having the golf cart and liked the home being at the end of the street. Overall liked the house, just thought for the price some more maintenance could really be done to take better care of the outside entertainment area. We did have a great trip.

2024 Spring Family vacation

Since our family is large sometimes it hard to find an affordable rental home. I found this house on Vrbo trad the reviews and booked. We couldn't have found a better place. Inside was plenty rooms for everyone and the younger kids loved the bunk room. Everyone loved the big screen and watched a few movies together. Outside was a smash EVERYONE loved the pool and games outside the kitchen area was used for a few cook outs and enjoyed the outside tv. The hit at night was the fire pit everyone gather around and enjoyed it was a Perfect relaxing week. We will return.

Lovely property, clean, well-equipped, great communication with management, and with extraā€™s including Xmas tree setup and playpen. Spacious fun house!

This rental was more spacious than expected! All the bedrooms were great. Two AC units which really kept the house cool. Everything you needed in the kitchen. The backyard was great! Pool was perfect and we really loved the BBQ grill/bar area. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area. We drove to the beach access rather than walking but the walk would have been doable. But probably not with small children like we had.

This is a great place to stay

We come to Destin every year in September. We've had a variety of homes that we have stayed in but this was the first 1 story home that was big enough to fit our family, and honestly it was perfect because going up and down those 3 stories of stairs gets tiring by the end of the week. This house is very well equipped. There's plenty of pool, beach toys, wagons, umbrellas, etc. Lots of things to do at the house to keep everyone busy if your not a beach person. The walk to the beach was short. The option of the golf cart was wonderful to take to the shops near by. The only issue we really had was with the AC, it didn't want to keep the house cool during the hottest parts of the day but the house managers was very attentive to send someone out as quick as possible to take a look at it when we notified them. My family really enjoyed our stay. And another quick shout out is to the house keeper. I believe her name is Nancy. She stayed a little later the day of check in to make sure the house was in tip top shape from the previous renters. But still let us unload our vehicles and get settled. We had 5 vehicles and the road is a little narrow so we backed down the road to make getting in and out a little easier. Definitely a great place to stay! We will be back or maybe even checkout one of the other homes the Harleman's have to offer.

Wonderful home for family trip

This home is in a perfect location. Easy walk to the beach. We had golf cart which added to the enjoyment of the stay. Rooms are spacious and interior decor was beautiful. Kitchen had everything you would need for meals at home. The outdoor back yard is an oasis where we spent most of our time. The pool is perfect size with different floats available. The grill/bar area was large and perfect space for preparing & grilling food. There is an outdoor gas fireplace that we didn't use because of the heat but looks like it would be a great place to chill in the evening. The management group was very responsive to address anything we needed. Had trouble with the projector but they resolved by next day because a cable was missing. The projector is an added bonus for relaxing in the evening watching a movie. We met the housekeeper who was very friendly & had the house perfect for us. Highly recommend this location for a family trip.

A great visit

Our family had a great time staying at this beautiful home. It was close to the beach. Walking was 5 to 7 minutes. We had age groups spanning from 70+ to 2 years and all of us had a great time. We would love to come back and i recommend Michael's place to anyone considering coming to Destin

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful and the yard was a huge hit with the whole family. Loved the hot tub, outdoor tv , kids loved making smores on the fire pit. Beds were comfortable, house was stocked well. It is a little hike to the beach. Great family memories were made.

Had a great stay.

Everyone enjoyed themselves at this home. The house is stocked with most everything you need and has plenty of room for a large family (we had 12). Some suggestions I have are: take your own beach chairs and umbrellas. The pans in the kitchen are well used, if you have a favorite pan at home bring it. The AC had a hard time keeping up during the very hot days we had, and the pool was so warm, it was not fun to use (not the owner's fault..it was hot outside!!). Kind of a longer walk to the beach than I thought it would be, but doable. Hint....if you drive to the Pompano Joe's parking area for the beach, there are lots of free parking spots across the street (a local told us that and we used it). So, don't hesitate to rent this home, you will enjoy it.
