Very affordable and in a cool part of town, very easy to get around. The hotel is located in the same building as apartments so it was confusing upon arrival. The superintendent of the apartments was not very helpful when i asked for more information. Check in was very late and i had to wait in the lobby for several hours, it was too complicated to arrange for my bags to be stored. The hotel room itself was immaculate, I appreciated the hot shower, complimentary soaps, plenty of towels and nice queen bed.

Sonder is not Responsove to issues as advertised
Mixer and clean. Easy check in instructions. Overall nice facility. Very disappointed with responsiveness of chat staff from Sonder with a forced entry situation. I ended up calling the police myself and the Sonder staff did not ever follow through with me despite clearly telling me they’d email or text me. It was all lip service.

Property was in a good location, accessible to all parts of town. Underground parking was convenient. There was a lot of noise at night, would recommend ear plugs to light sleepers.

There is no ceiling in the room, so from saturday morning to monday morning, you cpuld hear the water running in the pipes non stop. The bed was rock hard, temperature control was near impossible due to the open ceiling, no windows opened, and there is no fan in the bathroom or kitchen. Ive stayed in a lot of hotels/apartments, and this was proba ly my worst exeperience. Lets not forget the multiple texts that were sent to me asking how i was enjoying my stay, and if there was anything they could do to make my stay more enjoyable, but then when i would reply asking for a blanket, i would not gwt a response (only sheets are provided in the room and not a blanket) Trust me, save your money and stay somewhere else!

Cozy modern room.
It felt safe to stay here. Have to use a code to enter the building and another to use the elevator. Lobby, hallways and elevator are very clean. The room itself was very cute and cozy.

It was a great 3 week stay for us. Complete kitchen equipment, washing machine and dryer in the room are very special, the bed and sofa are very comfortable, providing extra comfort so that we feel like we are living at home. The Sonder team is also very responsive via the Sonder apps. Hopefully it can be maintained. However, I need to note a few things: 1. One day we were surprised and frightened by a man who knocked on the door and insisted on coming in to carry out an inspection! (according to him "inspection"... and after a few moments of argument, he said that he wanted to check the coffee machine and wanted to install something to the machine)... of course we refused him to enter the room because there was no prior information from the Sonder and we feel that he does not have clear identification as an authorized Sonder officer... 2. The hotel lobby and room we stayed in seemed clean, modern and comfortable but right in front of the hotel entrance it was a bit dirty, the floor was covered with a sticky drying liquid, sometimes there was rubbish strewn around... 3. No free parking facility for customers.

This location was just amazing. So close to everything local shops, dining options, movie theater, bus station. Also we never heard any noise from any other guest. The room itself was amazing too.

We unfortunately encountered issue after issue with this property. First, there is no free parking. None. You must pay $12-$14 daily to park and in one of the garages, when you go upstairs, someone peed in the hallway and it really stinks. The entire 5 days, it was bad. Entering the property, you will notice several homeless people surrounding the areas. Sometimes, they sit by the front door. Especially at night. Also, it's very loud. There must also be a hospital nearby because there are several emergency vehicles that come through full siren throughout the night. There is no front desk or person to speak to, you enter a code to get into your room. Upon arrival, you'll see a very modern looking apartment but it is not comfy. At all. The couch was very hard and so was the bed. My wife and I had to go to a nearby target and purchase blow up mattresses to sleep on because we couldn't handle the firmness of the mattress. They have a pull out couch, but it is a paper thin mattress. The TV is a flat screen, but in order to watch it, you must have a device that can screen mirror. However, the wifi went out halfway through our stay and we were unable to watch anything at all. There is a jacuzzi, no pool. However, it wasn't working during our stay. Also, there was busted glass right next to it. So, we couldn't do that either. Overall, it was just a very bad experience and I would not recommend this property to anyone.

We loved the apartment itself. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, having a washer and dryer was really convenient. We hated the neighborhood. Parking was only paid, and inconvenient. Very noisy at night, with frequent screaming and arguing in the middle of the night, which we could hear well on our 2nd floor. Loud truck noises at 4am. The worst was inebriated folks all around the building, including one guy completely out of it passed out on the floor of our “private” elevator and another knocking on my car window as I was sitting right in front of our door at 8am. We left after a few days. Grateful to have received a refund for unused time. Would never go back

This property was everything that I needed. Although all reservations don't come with, I absolutely loved the private parking. I often have extended stays, and of all choices of "apartels", as I like to call them, Sonder Revel is the best. I'm staying at Sonder Vicinity next week.

Cool Condo Conveniently Located
This is a great place to stay when doing business in central Minneapolis and you're tired of tiny hotel rooms. This one-bedroom apartment offered all the amenities - living room and full kitchen - with an adjacent Target store to stock up on food and drinks! No shortage of good restaurants and coffee shops in this walkable neighborhood. It's also a short walk to the trails encircling Lake Harriet and Bde Maka Ska. If there is a downside, it's the parking garage across the alley at Walkway. While extremely convenient, the garage does not have an automated process for entering or exiting the garage when paying through Spot Hero. The rate was great but having to summon a person to relay the code in order to open the gate or buzz you into the pedestrian lobby adds a little extra time to parking. All in all, space was clean, comfortable, and the keyless entry was exceptionally convenient. Can't say enough about the quality and value offered!

The unit itself was very clean with just a bit of wear on rugs (there were some cat hair clumps on the couch behind a cushion), but that has to be the firmest mattress I have ever slept on. I bailed after the first night as I’m a side sleeper, but my husband persevered. Slept on the couch (didn’t pull out the mattress in it) for the remainder of the time. We were surprised by how Uptown has changed since we left in 2018…gun shots first night, homeless population living in front of many businesses/apartment lobby doors, fenced in dirt lot across street after cancelled-planned development. Not quite the walkable rental I was planning on.

Great appliances, bed was comfy, decorated nicely. Great rooftop outdoor space. Didn't expect to 2am after bar noise (for more than an hour) thought I read that would not be tolerated? Antenna hook up at least for the tv would have been nice. No radio either. Not for the less tech savvy folks I guess. Otherwise a very nice place

Super clean, quiet room with nice amenities. The main bed was great, but the pull-out sofa bed was lumpy, short, thin and quite uncomfortable. Overall though, a nice stay.

While booking this property for an employee to go to a convention it wasn't clear what the check-in procedure is: create an account, you need to give your biometrics (camera on your phone), you need to upload your ID... all this is highly intrusive and also not very secure online. Additionally, if you book this for someone else it becomes a holy mess, because I was the credit card holder, and my employee the guest. Checking in was a nightmare. My employee had to wait two hours in the lobby because of this. Finally he was able to register over the phone. The next day the nightmare continues, as I get an email saying that they would cancel the reservation because again - I couldn't have his biometrics. It is so easy in other hotels where you just simply have to show your ID at the check in desk without any of this biometrics, load up ID, and emails hassle.

Great place for a short stay
This is a nice, modern, efficient place in Uptown Minneapolis. A lot of good and varied restaurants nearby, all walking distance. Only negative was no free parking available at residence.

It was very modern and a beautiful space. Very conveniently located near the Minneapolis lakes as well as shopping and restaurants. We found free onstreet parking a few blocks away.

Had there not been a security guard "hanging out" outside our building, we would still be there four days later trying to enter the building! Nowhere in any of our communication from Sonder was the name "Revel" mentioned as the name of the building where we were staying. The instructions to enter the building via the touch screen were not clear, and there were no directions to tell us how to get to our room (178), which was apparently on floor 1 and 1/2! Again, the security guard helped us figure out how to get to the room by taking the elevator to the second floor and then navigating down a stairwell to get to the floor the room was on. AND, there were ZERO instructions about how to enter the room! A touch pad and a passcode, but no directions on how to use it! Third time, thank god for the security guard being there to assist us. AND, no mention anywhere in our communications about the key fob that was in the room in what looked like a lozenge tin, and what it was for! OVERALL, COMMUNICATION WAS AWFUL! Once we got situated - it took about an hour and a half from our arrival until we settled in for the night - the facilty and experience was fine, other than there not being anyone one the premises to ask for extra supplies or to answer questions about the facility. We would likely return to the REVEL the future, now that we have an idea how the rental functions, because it is just a 10 minute walk from our daughter's home, and it was a nice facility.
