Welcome to Powderhorn Perch, a 1907 Craftsman designed for families, dog lovers, and work-from-anywhere travelers who want a neighborhood experience with easy urban access.

*The Home*
This dog-friendly home sleeps up to eight and is thoughtfully designed for comfort, creativity, and connection. Start your day in the sunny, well-equipped kitchen, perfect for making a big breakfast before a walk in the park. The adjacent dining room easily seats eight for shared meals or games. In the cozy living room, you’ll find a large TV, board games, and a curated bookshelf—plus an open invitation to take a book with you (just leave one behind if you can).

The main level includes a Queen bedroom and a full bath with a soaking tub and shower. Upstairs, a second Queen bedroom, a twin room with two beds, and an attached sunroom with a Queen sleeper sofa provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families or groups. The upstairs bathroom features a classic claw-foot tub, and the sunroom offers a peaceful, well-lit space to read or work.

Step outside and you’ll discover one of the home’s true highlights: a fully fenced backyard garden retreat. Whether grilling on the brand-new Weber gas grill, swinging gently in the cushioned garden swing, or enjoying a meal at the outdoor dining table surrounded by fruit trees and native perennials, this space invites relaxation in every season.

Powderhorn Perch is more than a place to sleep—it’s your base for exploring Minneapolis’s creative heart. With May Day Café, Reverie, and the Modus Locus art gallery all on the same block, you’re never far from good coffee, great food, or local art. We can’t wait to host you.

• All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.
• All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, prior to check-in, to be emailed or texted to our reservations department. No exceptions. (Please note that we do not have staff available to meet guests in person on site for this purpose.)
• Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation.
• Our Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. More info can be found on the Minnestay website, under Guest Services - Rental Policies.
• No smoking inside of the home. This includes e-cigarette and vape.
• This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.
• No events! This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
• Pets (dogs ONLY) allowed with prior notice and required pet fee (fee dependent on dog count, $150+).
• Please note that you are staying in a private home and not a hotel. We expect that you will treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them as quickly as we are able.
• Consumable amenities provided are not refilled during stay.
• Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.
• Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.

Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.

Good location.

Pros:3 Cozy reading spaces with great selections in reading material; large dining area; outdoor grill and table (it was raining on and off so we didnt get to enjoy it, though); beds are comfortable. You can get to pretty much any attractions and eatery within a 5-10 min travel radius of the house location.Cons:Street parking can be hectic if you're looking for a parking spot in mid to late afternoon when everyone is getting home from work/school. Downstairs restroom is in the kitchen.No central A/C but rather split A/C units which do a good job of cooling except the downstairs bedroom doesnt have one so you have to sleep with either cracked door or cracked windows.The house was built in early 1900s so it has a lot of tye original floors that creak throughout the house. Kitchen windows do not have curtains or blinds and you can see inside neighbors windows and viceversa.
