    Located in the heart of South Minneapolis, this home offers a perfect balance of neighborhood charm and convenient access to many of the city’s best destinations. Minneapolis is known as the “City of Lakes,” celebrated for its beautiful park systems, bike trails, local cafés, and vibrant neighborhoods.

    The home is within walking distance of Modern Times Café, Powderhorn Park, and Midtown Global Market, with easy access to local restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and neighborhood events.

    Outdoor lovers will appreciate being just 0.4 miles from the Midtown Greenway, one of Minneapolis’ most popular biking and walking trails connecting many parts of the city. Bde Maka Ska and the city’s lakes and trails are also just a short drive away.

    The location is ideal for visitors attending sporting events, concerts, or university events, with convenient access to U.S. Bank Stadium, Target Field, and the University of Minnesota campus, all within a short drive.

    Please note that this home is located in a vibrant, urban South Minneapolis neighborhood with all the character and activity that comes with city living. Guests should expect a diverse, active community environment rather than a quiet suburban setting. The neighborhood is very walkable and active, with people frequently out walking dogs, jogging, biking, spending time with family, and enjoying the nearby parks and trails.

    The property is next to a community transitional housing program, and you may occasionally see residents outside socializing near the sidewalk. In our experience, neighbors and community members have been friendly and respectful.

    As with many urban neighborhoods, we recommend standard city awareness practices such as locking vehicles and avoiding leaving packages or valuables unattended outdoors overnight.

    What we love most about this area is its authenticity, diversity, walkability, local cafés, parks, bike access, and strong sense of community.

    As a guest, you’ll enjoy access to nearly the entire home, including all 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, the sunroom workspace, basement movie/game room, backyard, laundry area, and fully stocked kitchen. All bedrooms are on the second floor; one bathroom on the second floor; second bathroom in the basement. *No bathroom or bedroom on the main level.*

    The home includes high-speed WiFi and Smart TVs with guest mode capabilities, allowing you to securely log into your preferred streaming services during your stay. Local channels are also available via antenna TV.

    Guests will also have access to the backyard with Adirondack chairs, bistro lights, cornhole, and lawn games, along with family-friendly amenities throughout the home.

    THE SPACE

    MAIN FLOOR
    The main floor features a cozy living room, dining area, fully stocked kitchen, and bright sunroom workspace. Large windows and historic details create a warm, welcoming atmosphere perfect for gathering, working remotely, or enjoying a slower morning with coffee and music.

    KITCHEN
    The kitchen is stocked for both simple breakfasts and full family meals, featuring Caraway cookware, a blender, air-pop popcorn maker, drip coffee machine, French press, pour-over setup, milk steamer, frother, and a thoughtfully curated coffee station.

    BASEMENT ENTERTAINMENT SPACE
    Downstairs, the basement has been transformed into a cozy entertainment area with a movie theater setup, foosball, and darts. Also available are puzzles, games, and a dedicated puzzle table — ideal for movie nights, rainy days, and family gatherings.

    BEDROOMS
    The home sleeps up to 10 guests across 4 thoughtfully designed bedrooms, with 3 queen beds and 2 full beds. Organic linens, layered textures, and soft lighting create a comfortable and restful atmosphere. All bedrooms are on the second floor.

    BATHROOMS
    Two full bathrooms provide convenience for larger groups and families, stocked with fresh towels and essentials. One bathroom is on the second floor, another bathroom is in the basement.

    OUTDOOR SPACE
    Enjoy a small but inviting backyard with Adirondack chairs, bistro lights, cornhole, and lawn Jenga — a cozy spot for summer evenings or morning coffee.

    FAMILY AMENITIES
    Families traveling with little ones will appreciate the included Nuna Pack & Play, Stokke adjustable chair, highchair, baby bathtub, baby gates, toys, books, and games.

    PLEASE NOTE
    This is a historic home with original quirks and character. The home uses radiator heat in the winter and window AC units in warmer months rather than central air conditioning. The fireplace adds warmth and ambiance visually but is not operational for guest use. Bedrooms are on the second floor, and bathrooms are on the second floor and in the basement.

    Getting around Minneapolis is easy from this central South Minneapolis location. The home offers quick access to Downtown Minneapolis, MSP Airport, and I-35W, making it convenient whether you’re visiting for work, events, or exploring the city.

Can't speak highly enough about this gem of a property. We were a group of 8 in town for a wedding. The 4 bedrooms with mix of bed vararities worked out perfectly for us. The kitchen was well equipped for any meal with plenty of seating for our group and guests. The host kept in contact with us during our stay and responded to the questions we have.
