Relaxing
This property was the first Vrbo home we rented. The experiece was fantastic. The home was everything it promised. I stayed with my daughter and her 2 friends for her 18th birthday. So much was provided to make our stay comfortable... many amenities were provided, the kitchen had everything you needed for food prep, bathroom sheet towels, to extremely comfortable beds...whatever was needed, it was there. The home was plenty spacious for the 4 of us and privacy was great. The check in and check out was a breeze.

Home away from home feel
It was a great place to stay! Very home feeling. Had everything you needed. Parking is on the street and there was always a spot. The only small hurdle was having to carry our suitcases on the stone and rock pathway to the place which was also an upstairs entrance. We had been traveling already for five days prior so our bags were extra heavy.

Great Space in a convenient but quiet location
The house was exactly as described, with only good surprises. It’s a mother-in-law apartment above the garage, but it’s spacious and very new. All of the appliances worked beautifully, and the beds were super clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, but had plenty of restaurants nearby and was a very short drive into downtown. Would absolutely stay here again without question.

Great place to stay
My family and I flew in for a Vikings game and this place was a perfect place to stay.. the stadium/douwtown was about an hour walking distance which was nice to be able to adventure/explore the town. We will definitely be looking to stay again next year if we come in for a game.

Close to Downtown
Owner's communicated well! Very comfortable 2 bedroom behind tenant house above the garage. AC was great as well as overall accommodations. Very close to downtown MN- were were in town for a wedding and used Uber. Parking for us was not a challenge but the street is busy.

Clean and private
This is separate guest house from the main house and for that reason is nice and private. It's clearly well cared for and clean. The neighborhood is what I would term as gentrifying, with newer construction starting to refresh some of the aged parts. Overall recommended!

Summer trip to Minneapolis
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this Kingfield home. It was in a walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants and it was a short drive to downtown. The home is perfect for a family of three such as mine but could also work if you have more then one child because there are bunk beds in one room and the beds are queen size. They also store an extra bed in the main bedroom closet. The kitchen and bathroom are both good sizes and have everything you need. The backyard had a huge trampoline in it which is right in front of the rental home and it was a little difficult to get suitcases through the back yard. It is a pretty tight path to get to the home because of the stuff in the yard but once you get in the home it is great.

Weekend vacation
The actual place was well cleaned and a very nice stay. Had everything we needed for a quick weekend stay. However, the wash machine was very very musty smelling and made the clothes washed smell awful. The path way to the house was also through their backyard -which was completely fine - however, they had a garden hose laying all over the path. But tripping hazard especially for my little girl. Pathway could have just been cleaned up better. Their kids also watch you through their windows.

Very clean
Did not like location. On street parking on a busy road. Very limited. Property was over a garage. Lots of steep steps to reach the unit. Had to walk through a very unkempt yard with pavers. Also overgrown and a hose wound across several pavers. Big liability for owner. The inside was neat and clean. Had everything we needed.

Convenient to downtown
Nice two bedroom apartment in a mixed neighborhood close to downtown. Convenient to shopping and dining. Even though it is on a busy street, because it's located behind the main house you don't hear the street noise.

Three-week stay
This is a lovely apartment. It looks as though it was just constructed recently, and everything is new and efficient. The owners were very helpful and did their best to provide anything we needed. We were there for three weeks while my husband had significant surgery at UM Fairview. I felt comfortable staying there by myself, but it was also comfortable for the two of us. Unfortunately the weather was quite awful, with lots of snow and ice. This made it difficult to navigate the path back behind the house to the apartment. The owners provided salt and grit for the walks, and they did all the snow removal. They also helped me find a place to park my car when I was required to move off the street for snow plowing. Although we managed fine, I would hesitate to recommend this place to anyone with a physical disability who might have trouble walking. Otherwise, it was a delightful place.

Exceeded expectations, both in accommodations and communications with host. Well stocked; spacious; comfortable beds; warm & cozy in January; clean and updated. We were all very pleased to have this place to call home for a few days, and we even added a pin to the map in the living room. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!!
Just the perfect place to create a family Christmas! I am from MN and lived and worked in St Paul for 36 years until I make bed to Helena, MT to finish my career. I was able to decorate and make your VRBO feel like a family Christmas. It was great to have a roaring fire 🔥on the TV screen along with Christmas music. We added our pin to the global wall and noticed another Montana pin! So nice to have coffee and tea there to start our mornings. We did leave a few things in the refrigerator that we just bought on Saturday. We forgot to lower the thermostat but sure were cozy while we were there. I would love to return next Christmas🎄 Happy New Year to you and THANK YOU!!!

This had everything we needed and was in a convenient spot! Well stocked on essentials and the rollaway bed was very comfortable! Make sure you use google maps and park as close to the curb as possible during snow. Apple Maps wasn't able to find the house and my side view mirror was taken off by a snowplow but no fault of the owners. Would stay again!

Great rental in a great location
We found the property extremely clean, quiet, and well appointed. It was comfortable and exceeded our expectations. On street parking was easy. The area is very walkable. We especially enjoyed the close access (1 ½ miles) to Minneapolis’ lake area. We highly recommend the Kingfield rental.

State Tennis Tournament Stay
Our stay was fantastic! Only minutes away from our destination. The 2 bedroom, 1 Bathroom, kitchen, dining room & living room area was very nice/spacious—decorated & up-to-date. Parking available on the street. Steve, owner, was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

SKOL Vikings !
The Boys couldn't stop raving about how amazing the location . Located perfectly for day trips to The Mall of America and perfect for trips to US Bank Stadium for a Sunday Vikings game. The guest house has 3 beds ready to go with additional beds in the closet if needed it could easily and comfortably sleep 6 guests . The Bunk beds are sturdy and capable of sleeping a grown man if needed .Exceptional hosts with a gorgeous guest house in the back . The only thing was that I couldn't find the ROKU remote but made due using my phone and installing a ROKU remote app on my phone . I hope this location is available for future bookings because my friends and I agree we hope to visit the great state of Minnesota more often for more Vikings games . SKOL VIKES ! A service station is located down the street and this was a life saver as we arrived late and did not have any food or beverages but this store was able to help us out . Flawless VRBO Experience , Highly recommend

Beautiful interior woodwork and countertops! Parking on the street, one must walk across someone's front yard, through a gate, past a sprinkler system, and across a maze of children's toys to get to the cottage. It's fine, but we did get soaked one morning. Also, the dishwasher wasn't working. We were warned about this on the day of our arrival, but I think a small refund would have been appropriate for the inconvenience of handwashing. All-in-all, pretty happy with our stay...

Went to Minneapolis for the weekend to see the Vikings play and to tour the city and Mall of America. The property was less then 10 minutes away from both and had quite of few places to eat nearby. Great location and clean, spacious property. The host, Steve, was quite accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this property.

Kingfield Cottage
The cottage, newly built behind main house, was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Furniture and appliances were all virtually new. We arrived late at night but could check ourselves in using the key pad on the door. We found a few nice stores, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

Decent stay
The hosts were excellent and the house was fairly clean; however, the shower curtain liner and bath tub drain were full of pink soap scum. My kids wanted to take a bath, so I had to clean the tub drain ring myself. The dishwasher stunk really badly and some of the kids dishes still had moisture inside them when we went to use them for the first time. Also, the washer and dryer were nice amenities, but the wash machine had mold on the inside and underneath the rubber flap and smelled from the door being shut and moisture build up inside. Although minor, the dryer lint holder had not been cleaned from the last people who stayed. Finally, although the location was nice being close to downtown and the interstate, accessing the house through the owner’s personal backyard that was very untidy was a huge turnoff, and something we were not aware of through the pictures posted online.

Quiet Neighborhood
Clean, modern, well equipped, walking distance to stores & eateries & park, quiet neighborhood, free street parking. Steve, the owner, promptly replies and pleasant to talk too. The neighbors had fireworks (July 4th) that we got to watch and enjoy from the front porch. Great place for coffee on the corner, at butter bakery. Nicollet Ave is same street as Eat Street , just north of it, also some good food just within a mile of walking on same street. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Steve and Jeanette!

The property is extremely nice, scrupulously clean, very comfortable. My only comment (and this is no reflection on the property or the description particularly) is that the bunk bed in the second bedroom, while a great thing for families with children, is not especially comfortable for an adult, and desperately needs some sort of night table. All in all a very good experience.
