Our stay was ok for a Hyatt property. I thought Hyatt was a more respectable brand, but this visit was not that. First, we thought that since we were Hyatt members there would be a fee waived for parking. We were told that corporate just changed that and even the front desk did not agree with the change. We had to pay for parking. Thanks Corporate, maybe you should listen to your staff who disagreed with this changed. I had to pay for parking, which was ridiculous. Oh and to top it off, the evening front desk staff told me I should not have paid for it as they do not even check to see who has paid it and who has not. It is not even registered with the front desk! So now I feel like I was scammed!! Note to others reading this, do NOT scan the QR code and pay for parking unless the hotel corporate decides to implement some sort of procedure to check every vehicle. I get that paid parking should be implemented if you are utilizing the Park and Fly option. We were just staying in the hotel for two nights. Our parking should have been included or we should have been paying for parking through the hotel front desk. Not some random QR code. I never even got an email confirmation or receipt for this paid parking!
We were also never told at check in about the option to enjoy a free adult beverage in the evening. We learned this from a random guest in the elevator as he said, "well they better provide something like this since I had to pay for parking!"
