"The house was super clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Bonus finished basement with huge couch and tv. Perfect spot for teenagers, while adults can enjoy the main living room. The spot on the lake was great. Quiet area, boat launch very close, very easy access to beautiful Lake George. Cook Mountain Preserve hiking trails within a mile of house, great views!! Host is very responsive if you need anything. "

"My husband and I stayed for three nights and were very impressed with the little A-frame. First, it’s really in a great location and close to everything we wanted to do… hikes, restaurants and little shops.The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Love all the amenities inside and out. The hot tub was a nice treat especially after a long hike. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!"

"My husband and I really love this property not because of its location, which is absolutely beautiful-but because it is the complete package. The updates made were very very nice. Loved having coffee outside the deck. We were able to relax, play games and enjoy ourselves in a beautiful setting! The communication with the owner was great! "We had a wonderful stay. The property was just as advertised and the hosts provided clear instructions and directions about getting there, where to park, accessing the camp site, etc. We stayed on the overlook site, which had a raised wood platform for the tent and was warmer at night for camping in cold temperatures. Was fun to explore the swimming hole and nearby trails."

"I was in the area for the 250th anniversary of the Green Mountain Boys' assault on Fort Ticonderoga and stayed for two nights at "Camp Howard".I had the best time, it's a really cute yet very spacious cottage, remote and yet easily accessible along a private road.It was truly refreshing to not have cell service, it took me a few hours before I truly relaxed.There is a river down below the back of the cottage and I fell asleep at night hearing the noise of the water.Great property in a wonderful...

"This was a wonderful site that I would love to visit again. The river flowing by was so beautiful. I would like to stay again when we don’t have so much rain. The river was too raging for any swimming. The only downside was there was a bit of a steep walk down to the site from the parking area, but you do have to go downhill to be near a river."
