Mineo Townhouse with incredible views of Mount Etna

Casa nel Cielo is a beautiful light and airy townhouse in the centre of Mineo. It is located in a quiet street, just a 5-minute walk from the main square, where there are restaurants, pizzerias and shops. The atmosphere is always vibrant, friendly and relaxed and there are always festivals and entertainments in the Piazza all year round. There is a beautiful swimming pool just 2 km from the house at Bike park Sicily and another spa just 5 km away at Valle de Margi. The house has street parking nearby. The view from the house is spectacular from the roof terrace and balcony, especially at sunset. Terrace furniture and sunbeds are available. Our house is our family holiday home so we hope you love it as much as we do!
Space
The house is spacious and bright, but also traditional. The views from all the front windows are incredible over the plains below Etna. We do have new air-conditioning on each floor, but you can just open the windows as there is always a lovely breeze and let the house cool down in the summer. There are fans in each room if needed. All bedding is quality cotton. Towels are provided The master bedroom has a 4 poster King bed that also has a balcony and a view! The adjoining second bedroom has two 4-poster single beds with adjoining shower room. There is a sofa bed on the mezzanine. A folding cot is available. There is a large dining room for 6 people and a smaller kitchen breakfast bar for 3 people. There are two separate living spaces. One is set up as a mini theater room with a projector where you can watch your favorite downloaded movies. The new bathroom has a power shower, toilet and sink! There is a further bathroom with a washing machine off the living area.
There are cushions for the roof patio furniture and a large parasol. There is also a small barbecue. The house is comfortable, clean and quiet.
Guest access
The house is accessible through its own front door which is directly off the street and there 3 floors with two flights of stairs. Street parking is available on Via Marino, the parallel street below. The keys are in the key box on the front door. Keypad instructions will be sent 3 days before your stay.
Other things worth noting
Please note that the stairs to the roof terrace are not suitable for the elderly, infirm or small children. Make sure children are supervised when using the roof terrace at all times.
