Nothing short of AMAZING
Not sure where to begin on the excellent stay we had at this beautiful Lake home. Our family stayed here for the Thanksgiving Holiday and we were truly impressed with how well our stay was. Check in was painless, the home is in immaculate condition, very well maintained. Although the aesthetics were pleasing, it still had such a homey, comfortable vibe. It came FULLY stocked with laundry, pots and pans, lots of dishware, serving platters, blender, coffee maker, wine/cognac glasses, games, I'm not kidding this place has everything! The pantry even has little fiddles for cooking or baking on a whim in case the stores ae closed when you arrive. There is a brand spanking new cooktop in the home, and we cooked our entire Thanksgiving meal. Most people wont be cooking such an extravagant meal, but in the event you do *pay close attention to the temps and keep an eye on your food in the even you need to adjust it *dont use scrubbers or anything abrasive on the stovetop, you dont want to scratch the beautiful surface *clean that stove up immediately lol there are magic erasers above the washer and dryer that worked great to bring the shine back *and lastly, the ventin the middle can be removed and cleaned as well, so don't forget to wash that and dry it before you put it on the stove❤️ We loved everything about the home, the hosts, and our stay. There is even a Wine/Brewery nearby, and lots of shopping in Alexandria like 20mins away. We look forward to booking this home again!

Great place for a getaway
Our son was getting married at Carlos Creek Winery and we needed a place to stay that was close by. A 15 min drive made this very convenient. The house was very comfortable with all the modern conveniences. It had a double oven and one oven was not working, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The main suite was lovely. The lower bedrooms were very nice and spacious, I wish they would have had queen size beds so 2 adults could comfortably sleep. All in all I would highly recommend this lovely home!

We had another great year at you VRBO. Hope we left it as requested. The house is just the right size for our girls weekend And not far from Carlos Creek. We also love Jim and Judy's down the road. So glad there are still those small family owned businesses. The weather cooperated. Lots of stories, jokes and laughter was had by all. Oh yes! Wine drinking too!

Girls weekend
We had an awesome weekend with all the girls, the lake access was easily accesible but we did have some issues with a neighbor coming down and telling us we were in the wrong area and other people using the docks stole some of our groups towels, i am guessing not on purpose. Also when we arrived there were crumbs in the living room and downstairs at the table.

Fishing trip
The house was great, lots of room. Julie and Steve were very responsive to questions prior to arrival and suggestions for things in the area. Only thing I can recommend is a couple fans for the basement rooms. We hope to stay there again!

Nice house in Miltona
House was very nice, clean and well kept. The walk to the lake is not too bad. I suggest a golf cart for moving cooler etc to and from the boat. Lake was low in water level but still able to get boat in and out of the dock. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice house near Lake Miltona
The owner, Julie, was super nice and responsive to questions before and during our stay. Listing was accurate so no surprises when we arrived. Master bedroom and bath was awesome, lower bedrooms were full mattresses so a bit small for the other couples that stayed with us, but the foldout couch was a queen that fit 3 kids. Great kitchen and the welcome kit was a nice touch. It is clear in the listing, but note that this property is not on the lake; it has a dock nearby down the road. Would highly recommend!

Family get away
Just wanted to spend some time away with my family. Plenty of space, loved having a washer and dryer and dishwasher. We didn’t use the lake a lot but we did other things in the area.

Fourth time staying because so happy with the place. Would like shampoo and laundry detergent or be told is doesn't have any.

Due to the personal nature of shampoo, we leave that to the guest - most bring their own. There is laundry detergent provided as the laundry sheets, I'll have the cleaners make sure that it is available w/ a note that it is replacing any liquid bottles of detergent

Great house near Alexandria
We loved staying here! We had a lot of space. I had a luxurious bath in the jacuzzi tub after our day of ice fishing. The kitchen was very well-stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful unit, great location!
We totally enjoyed this unit. It was in a quiet area of the island, yet easily accessible to everything you want to see or do. The unit was clean, well stocked with all the necessities, comfortable bed and furnishings. Steve and Julie were so easy to work with and communication was prompt and excellent! We will definitely recommend this unit to others and hope to return ourselves again in the future! Thank you for the wonderful unit!

Home away from home
We had a great experience at this home. It was extremely clean and organized with a nice welcome package. We have stayed at many different rental properties and this was by far the nicest. Will definitely be back in the future. Our only struggles were the TV and the darts were missing parts.

Nice place to stay
The house is very nice to stay. This was our second time. Kitchen is well stocked, there is plenty of room for everyone to hang out and it is clean. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the lake from the front porch.

Beautiful Lake house
The house was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. A nice surprise was to find the pantry was well stocked with food. We didn’t have time to go grocery shopping before arriving at the house so this was much appreciated. The only suggestion I would make is bring your own blankets as there weren’t very many and no blankets in the livingroom.

This home was absolutely beautiful however the pier for Lake access is a long way away from the house. And when I stayed there the pier was not even in the lake:-(

I'm sorry for any confusion. As listed and communicated prior to booking, our property is not on the lake but we do have a shared access to the lake, which is a quick walk down the road 300ft from the front door. Our dock is currently still in the lake and you may have misunderstood the directions. We pride ourselves with a great local property manager that is just 1 call away and very helpful for any questions! Thanks for choosing our home for your stay 😀

Family get together.
Lots of fun visiting with grand kids. 2nd time was just a nice as 2021. The weather was great for long walks. The place is perfect for a family gathering. Hope we can make it back in 2023.

Fun family time!
We had a wonderful time with our family boating, going out to eat and playing goofy golf with our kids and grandkids!! The weather was great and allowed us a lot of outdoor time. We had one hiccup that was promptly taken care of by the property manager (thank you Ashley!). A rreally fun time was had by all!

Love Lake Miltona
My family grew up on this lake. So it is a very special lake to us. We have many family and friends that live on this lake. The house is warm and welcoming. The owners are available to answer any questions that we have. Everything is a positive about this place unless you want to be right on the lake.

FAMILY LAKE WEEK
We love this place. It is a place we have gathered 2 years in a row now for a Lake week with extended family. It's big enough to fit us all comfortably and has enough parking for all our boats. 🤣 Something that could use attention the dock and beach area is very weedy and not really usable for families. Suggestions would be, the grill is just electric and it would be fun to have the option of propane or charcoal. Also a extra freezer to store fish.

Thank you for visiting again! We have taken your recommendations and added a freezer in garage for fish. We are also working on a better beach situation but do love to utilize "Sandy Beach" right down the road for swimming. We do have a small charcoal grill stored in garage that you may have overlooked but a propane one does sound like a good option. Hope to see you again next year!

Peaceful Property
We so enjoyed staying at this location! It's tucked away on a quiet road and is such an inviting place to enjoy! Really appreciated all the night lights placed throughout the home. So helpful to see during late night trips to the bathroom! Lots of lakes & outdoor places to enjoy nearby. Will definitely recomend to others & will stay again if ever needing to be in the area. Thank you!!

Relaxing
This property has an excellent layout for multiple family use. The outdoor grill works very well, wonderful, fully stocked kitchen, downstairs dartboard is fun entertainment. This property had towels and bedsheets .The property is close to other lakes besides Lake Miltona, so if the weather is rough, you can find a smaller lake to fish on. This location was 20 min away from Alexandria, where we went to find some nice shops, the mini golf coarse and nice restaurants to eat at.

Very peaceful
The home and property are lovely! We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed a week for a family reunion and to celebrate my nephew's wedding. Plenty of room in the yard to play yard games and sit around a fire. At night, plenty of room for everyone to comfortably sleep! Highly recommend!

Perfect retreat
The house was gorgeous, we all want a house like this for ourselves. It was well stocked with essentials for cooking and games, sand toys and activities for the kids as well as sunscreen and bug spray. There was plenty of space for our party of 10 and 2 little dogs. It is perfect for those who love to be cool as the air was set pretty low, so bring a sweater if you are always cold. The area in the garage to clean the fish was much appreciated. There was firewood available if we had wanted it for a small fee. We would love to stay again. Thanks to our hosts.

Very clean & comfortable! Great location, close to all the boat launch on Lake MIltona. Fishing was fabulous!!! Highly recommended.
