"We stayed at Hogwarts before a cycling event called Chase the Sun. We couldn't have been happier, Rosie welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around. We had access to a full kitchen with a full array of snacks, tea/coffee available to us 24/7. The room we booked had ample space for our bikes and kit in the conservatory that was attached to the bedroom. The property was nice, calm and quiet; the perfect environment to prep for the 205mile bike ride that was facing us the next morning. The...

"Had a very pleasant stay at the White Horse. Large car park with plenty of spaces, nice refurbished room in an old pub so clean and comfortable but without losing it character, excellent powerfull shower which could practically blow your nipples off and a very good range of tea and coffee in the room including decaf coffee bags. Very good fast wifi. Excellent supper in the restaurant with beautifully cooked vegetables. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"Although some areas could take a lick of paint, this traditional country house hotel was just what we wanted pre our Le Shuttle journey. The staff are an absolute credit to hospitality, the food is delicious and the bed was comfy, great shower pressure and peace and quiet plus safe parking. "

"Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. "It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend."
