"The rooms were very unique and large, including the bathroom. There is no microwave in the room, but there is one available on the second floor. They do have to have coffee machines in the rooms, but they do have a fancy coffee maker, which I couldn’t figure out it seems they’re missing some main TV channels regarding News and I thought that was odd. However, I really enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"I am extremely disappointed in this hotel, Astoria North Extended Stay 1030 Piney Forest Rd, Danville, VA, 24540. I got two rooms. Both rooms have dirty and soiled carpets; the bathtubs are dingy; one of the refrigerators was stained with some kind of liquid and one of them have roaches. I requested nonsmoking rooms but both rooms smelled like smoke and reeked of a bad odor. A horrible experience. "Room was disgusting! Toilet was dirty and surfaces overall unclean upon checkin. I had to wipe and disinfect prior to being comfortable enough to stay in the room. The hotel was allegedly sold out so there were no other rooms. Front desk ladies are nice but it is not nearly worth the amount charged. I would like a refund. "

"Room was disgusting, walked in and a painting was broken on the floor behind one of the beds, cigarette butts under the bed and hair and discarded food in random spots. This was a cheap stay but I think next year I’d rather go somewhere else than stay in this dirty ashtray."

"I wasn’t informed that renovations were being conducted on the property. It was very disconcerting, trying to get into the property because the signs weren’t clearly marked. Also, they were went and clean my room like I wanted to clean and brought clean linens so no I wasn’t happy."

"The property overall is top notch. I was pleased with my King suite, and had a nice view of the property overseeing the pool. The casino was a lot of fun. The staff does well to keep the game floor clean. Service could be improved at the cash center during busy hours, but the staff were all super friendly.
