"We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautifully done with all the modern amenities. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and you get an amazing view of the water. It’s within walking distance to restaurants and local shops and down the street is a park. It’s only 1.25 hours away from Baxter State Park which is one of the reasons we chose it. "This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!"

"My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. We ventured out and about into the town of Lincoln, Bangor and Aroostook county. We even had several conversations with the neighbors. "We stayed at this location for a long weekend that included the total solar eclipse. The location is beautiful and the cabin is perfect. We were not able to utilize the dock or really get into the woods because of the snow but still enjoyed our time. 10/10 would recommend!"

The bedrooms are more comfortable and spacious than they look in the photos; the open living room/kitchen, dining area is large, airy, and comfortable. "We really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious porch after spending our days fishing in the area. The view of the pond and the comfortable seating were great. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and meal preparation was a breeze. Beautiful scenery but located close to shopping in Lincoln, this was the perfect base for us to float-fish the Penobscot and East Branch. Would recommend, and would love to return."

"We came up for the eclipse extended weekend and were pleasantly pleased with how friendly and thoughtful our host was. She took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming.
