"This was a last minute booking as the hotel we were supposed to stay in had been booked for 2026 by mistake (by me!). The room was really cosy, and we were made to feel really welcome in the bar. The continental breakfast was lovely, and hot food was available to purchase if we wanted it. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The Copper Beeches is a 15 minute walk from the South Downs Way. I received a very warm welcome and my stay couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you so much. "

"We visited this hotel back in September 2024 everyone was so welcoming the hotel is beautiful with breathtaking grounds and views! We decided to come back as a memory and we were fortunate enough to stay in the exact same room as last time which was very sentimental to us!! The breakfast was delicious with such a huge choice of selection The staff are lovely as well as the owners who are very welcoming and friendly!! "Great place to stay and have food"

"Nice modern stylish room, prompt email replies from staff regarding flexible check ins. Very comfy room. Good breakfast included. Only drawback was when the room next door had their tv on late at night it actually woke me up in my room! But not really much which could be done about that. Also milk missing from tea station in morning but assume that was a simple oversight. "

"I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!"

"Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit, the property needs a refresh and fridges in the bedrooms (although one was supplied on request) No air con but that's normal for the UK. The room was clean and the sports bar was ok - spacious and quick service with pool tables and tvs to watch sport. Driving range and tennis courts were fun and there are outdoor spaces to sit and relax"

"Nice location, nice room and comfy bed. One negative that we experienced was when we arrived we waited for a while before anyone came and when they did they simply gave us our key, told us our room and that was it. No warmth, not very friendly and was a bit of a shame. Left us both thinking it was a bit off. Other than that, the hotel was lovely. "

"We went for a weekend with our cavapoo. TBH had little treat box, dog towel and little sleeping mat. We brought many of our own things but nice to make him feel welcomed. We had a great stay. "Great room with all the amenities "

"For a consecutive month, I booked with a Greene King Inn to include an evening meal with the breakfast. The hotel is situated in the middle of a busy high street with great parking at the rear which is easily accessible. I was warmly welcomed and directed to my room which was nice and clean. It was warm and I asked for a fan which was supplied quickly. I went for a 1 hour speed walk and came across a village called Chawton which was a lovely part of the world to walk around.
