"The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River."

"We had a birthday celebration for our mother at the home. Everything was great! There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the property. The weather was great so some family members spent time reading outside in the screened-in gazebo. The children played on the playground, and it was nice for them to have a place to play safely. "We stayed for two weeks to see various family members who came and went as schedules allowed. Overall, the house is great on many levels, if lacking in a few specific areas. First, the great, the hosts are incredibly receptive, friendly, helpful and gave the distinct impressions that they want to make your stay as good as possible. Accurate description of by the tracks- train does blow the whistle late night and early morning but oddly got used to it. Location was close to wedding venue, so that was helpful"
