The Perch is a drive-up tent with parking for two cars right at your entrance, making it super easy to unload and settle in.

This is largest tent and provides the most authentic-style tent camping experience, perfect for guests who want to really connect with the outdoors. It does have heat and A/C and is fully climate controlled, but on beautiful days, you can open the whole tent up and let the mountain air in. A large Serengeti-style canvas door leads out to a covered, screened-in porch. You can even roll the screens up if youd prefer it wide open.

Outside, youll find a dining table and two Adirondack chairs, perfect for meals or just relaxing. The Perch also includes its own private fire pit, ideal for unwinding under the stars.

Fun Fact: This tent held its ground through Hurricane Helene without a scratch. Thats how durable and top-of-the-line our glamping tents arebuilt to handle the wild, so you can relax in comfort. We're pretty proud of that.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy Wheat Creek Lodge, a shared space featuring games, a cozy lounge area, and a camp store stocked with snacks and everyday essentials. Youll also find our make-your-own specialty coffee station, where you can whip up a latte, cappuccino, or espresso just the way you like it. Though a coffee maker as well as a drip coffee option is provided in your tent as well.

Were perfectly locatedjust 45 minutes from Asheville, NC, and Greenville, SC; 30 minutes from Hendersonville and Spartanburg; and less than 15 minutes from the charming mountain towns of Tryon, Landrum, Lake Lure, and Saluda. The Tryon International Equestrian Center is under 10 minutes away and offers nightlife, dining, and a variety of events throughout the year.

Youll also be just a stones throw from three fantastic local wineries. Parker-Binns, Mountain Brook, and Overmountain, as well as a great selection of local restaurants and breweries. Outdoor adventures like tubing, ziplining, and scenic hiking trails are just a short drive away.

The owners, live on-site to ensure the property is well-maintained and secure. Theyre always happy to assist if you need anything but will fully respect your space and privacy. You may spot them around the grounds with their friendly dog, Dudley, but rest assured they wont interrupt your stay unless invited. Thats a promise.
