"Very nice hotel at a reasonable rate. Very convenient, close to everything. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. My grandchildren loved the indoor pool. This is my second stay here, but not my last. "

"I never met a staff person, so I can't say anything about that. I DID have direct text communication, however. The entire establishment is adorable and full of character. Those espousing sterile chain places may not like it much, but those - like me - who love reclaimed character will have GREAT appreciation for this beautiful gem. VERY comfortable and squeaky clean. The "backyard" view of the mountains is more than only breathtaking. I'd add a photo if I could, but "something" isn't...

"We had a great stay at this mountain getaway. It was very relaxing for my wife and myself. We also enjoyed spending time with Ripley the goat. The accomodations were excellent and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. We ended up staying an extra night."

"Carl was the perfect host ! He met us at the cabin , introduced himself and showed us necessary things about our stay !! He has thought of absolutely everything for a one bedroom one bath , cute as could be Cabin . We will be building in the mountains of Waynesville and he gave us great ideas ! Inside and out ….. spotless . Would stay again and stay longer !! "

"Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff!"

"Wonderful place. Better than the preview and photos on the internet. Blissful, peaceful, secluded, but only a short drive to Lake Lure, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock, etc. Will definitely return….."
