"The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again."

"We had an excellent stay at this VRBO. It was within walking distance of my sister in laws house, so it was perfect for our little family. Clean, and had everything you needed, including parking! The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet, so we always felt safe! My only suggestion would be to provide more toilet paper. We stayed for 4 nights 5 days and only had 3 small rolls of toilet paper. Otherwise Bala was attentive to messages and got back to us in a timely manner when we needed to get in...

"We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. It’s a bit of a drive outside of the city, but we were just there at the end of the night to sleep, so we didn’t mind it, and it was a nice, quiet area. All in all,...

"My husband and I (plus our dog) enjoyed 5 nights at this beautiful spot. Had really good food options close by and it was a great spot to visit Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy the area. Super peaceful. We had a lovely time."

"This Lakeside retreat was perfect! Just what my family of 4 needed. We enjoyed looking out at the lake and swimming and fishing. Hot tub was a great activity at night. Campfires over looking the lake and watching the sunset. The house is very clean and comfy for a family of 4. The owner was very responsive. We also enjoyed going off on adventures in the area, wineries, Halifax, Mahone Bay and the local meat market Oulton's. A must to visit if you love animals. They have all kinds of exotic cool...
