"The property was a great location close to the harbour and forest. Set near a river the evenings were perfect sitting out having a drink. The rooms are located away from the restaurant/pub so it is good when she wants to go to bed. Had a really nice day. We will definitely come back."

"Never stay here in the summer! A lovely hotel with a great spa but sadly the staff were not interested. Our room (6) was boiling hot, far hotter than 2 other hotel rooms we have slept in over this May 26 heatwave. When we raised this at check in and explained that we would not be able to sleep in the room we were given a spare fan that simply moved the hot are around. "The bed was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. The mattress was shockingly bad. You could feel and see every spring which creaked pinged and moved everytime you moved.
