"We were really disappointed with this property, firstly there are no instructions how to get to the villa and it isn’t easy to find. When you get there the only way to the villa is up and down 87 uneven stairs, this is not advertised. The villa is in need of a lot of maintenance, the electrics are dangerous with cables hanging out of the switchboard, the showers are rusty and broken Hot tub was filthy and after we cleaned it found out it didn’t work. "We arrived for a full lunar eclipse. The patio provided a great view. There are NO other houses or lights to be seen. In the distance there was faint, faint dog barking but otherwise the house is totally quiet. Eeva provided food items, especially for breakfast. It was much-appreciated. It was so nice to be so isolated yet so close to Marmaris, but you should have a rental car. The outside air was wonderful in the evenings. "We had a summer sojourn at this lovely villa, overlooking the bay in Gündoğan, as an extended family of 12! Guven was prompt and very helpful with all queries. Check in was smooth. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, every manner of drink glasses, and a lovely coffee machine that churned out lattes to enjoy sunrise and glorious mornings. (Bring coffee beans if you are particular about your coffee). Kitchen is a bit tight for a large family of several chefs. There’s a lovely large alfresco...

"The villa is modern, and well equipped. It is a bit furyher out of town than we'd expected, so car/taxi ride in, but fine. You would struggle withnjout a car, although Mehmet ("tame" taxi man was lovely and very obliging (fare into town about 150 Lira) Eeva is a brillaint host, and very patient with our various enquiries Even had Maggie tha cat to entertain us in the evening!"
