NEIGHBORHOOD
The Moscova district, nestled in the beating heart of Milan, stands out for its vibrant blend of history, culture and modernity, representing one of the most fascinating districts of the Lombard metropolis. This neighborhood takes its name from the historic Moscova Gate, once part of the city's defensive walls, and today gateway to a world of elegance and innovation.
Moscova is a crossroads of trends and traditions, where the narrow cobbled streets open onto lively squares, luxury boutiques, contemporary art galleries and gourmet restaurants. At the center of the neighborhood, the fervor of daily life intertwines with the tranquility of green spaces such as Parco Sempione, one of the green lungs of the city, which invites moments of relaxation and outdoor activities with a breathtaking view of the Sforzesco Castle. The latter, a medieval fortress transformed into a museum, houses art collections that narrate centuries of Italian history.
Continuing north, you come across the new skyline of Milan, with the skyscrapers of Porta Nuova that stand as symbols of futuristic Milan. Among these, the Vertical Forest, with its living facades, is a masterpiece of sustainable architecture and urban design.
Nearby, Brera, with its cobbled streets, offers a bohemian atmosphere, enriched by the presence of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Brera Art Gallery, where works by Raphael, Caravaggio and Canova are exhibited. This area is also famous for its antiques market and numerous literary cafés.
Moscova is well connected to the rest of the city via the green metro line, which facilitates access to important cultural and commercial hubs, making this neighborhood an ideal starting point for exploring Milan in all its facets.
With its strategic location, Moscova represents the perfect balance between the charm of historic Milan and the innovative impulse of the modern city, offering an enviable quality of life and a variety of cultural, gastronomic and leisure experiences that capture the essence of being Milanese.

Clean, Comfortable, and Perfectly Located
Great stay! The home was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Centrally located, making it easy to explore the area. We also loved the personal story displayed on the wall—it added such a warm, thoughtful touch. Would definitely stay again!

Construction Headache
Immediately upon arrival after a very long and hot travel day, we were greeted with the sound of drilling and excessively loud hammering. It was then we noticed the sign posted in the courtyard that there was “exceptional”construction happening on level three and four of the building, this unit is on level two. The unit under construction sits directly above. The noise started at 8 AM and did not let up until after five. It wasn’t light banging or a few moving things. It was excessive drilling into walls and hammering. Contacted VBRO and the property manager none were willing to offer any kind of concessions. We paid a ton for a headache. If you can find a different place to stay in Milan, I would highly recommend it. The location of this apartment is great, but the unit itself is a little tired and the construction is a dealbreaker.

Pontos negativos: Check-in e comunicação
The pluses: Great location. Easy 1st floor walk-up in a nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants. We loved the fine art poster of the "flying nun." Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Minuses: Self-service entry on first effort was almost a big fail. We notified property mgr and said we would be in on a later train at 21:00. We arrived apartment at 21:30. There are three locked gates prior to reaching the key code box at the apartment door that contained the apartment key AND the gates key. We were instructed to dial a two-digit code that did not open the gates. It sounded like the dialed number went to an unmanned phone. No one picked up or buzzed us in -- Also, the middle gate had no such call box. We were about to contact the property manager when a kind resident of the apartment complex opened the first three gates with his key. We then found the key box and were able to enter the apartment and the locked gates. Also, we only received one set of keys and the apartment cannot be locked from the inside without a key, so if one or two of us went out leaving part of our group of four inside, there was no way to secure the apartment door from the inside without a second key. Worse, if the apartment was locked from the outside, those remaining inside would have no way to get out. Providing a second set of keys is the only way to solve this problem. Finally, street noise is high at night, so ear plugs are recommended. Otherwise, great property. Cheers!
