"A lovely villa in a peaceful tranquil retreat. Wonderful views of the coast and surrounding hills. Watch the Eagles soaring above. Very peaceful you can listen to the wildlife around you. The nearest Taverna is just over a kilometer away but you are unlikely to encounter a car walking there. Beautiful lake nearby to see the fresh water turtles."

"This was our second stay at villa Sevos and it has been fully renovated since our last visit in September 22. We loved it before but it's even better now, clean and modern throughout with huge windows to make the most of the stunning views. The morning visits from the peacocks who live at the farm across the way were a highlight of each day. The staff are just as lovely as we remembered from last time and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place...

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir waren mit 14 Personen (9 Erwachsenen und 5 Kinder) in der Unterkunft. Bei Ankunft war alles sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Außengelände und der Wohnbereich sind gepflegt und weitläufig. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind dagegen teils sehr kompakt, sodass etwas improvisiert werden musste. Der Spielplatz und der Pool waren für die Kinder perfekt. Lediglich ein kleiner Buddelkasten wurde von der Jüngsten vermisst. Die Betreuung durch Lina war sehr gut....

"Villa Tamos is a wonderful, well-equipped, spacious villa in a beautiful setting and we absolutely loved our time there. The pool is as perfect as the view and grounds and Stuart and Lorraine were super-helpful hosts. The villa is well located for exploring Crete and the restaurants/bars/shops of Almyrida are only ten minutes drive away. There is a long unmade track to the property, which needs driving with care, but it's well worth it, and we hope to return one day! Thank you for everything....

"Great location to stay outside of the major cities in Crete. Mini markets are located within wlaking distance as well as restaurants (~10-min walk). The apartment has everything you need, including full kitchen, washer (no dryer), pool, parking next to the apartment."

"Bei der Anreise würde ich vorher die Karte auf Googelearths herunterladen, vor Ort ist es ein wenig versteckt ( beim Schild Villa Nathalie in den Weg ruhig abbiegen 😊)... aber der Vermieter ist Tel. ständig erreichbar und hilft sofort weiter. Wenn ihr dann noch vorsichtig mit der Treppe im Haus seid, euch besser ein Nachtlicht anmacht!!!!... dann steht einem herrlichen Urlaub überhaupt nicht s im Wege. Es ist alles da was ihr braucht. Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 1 Kleinkind dort. Einfach...

"Overall loved the place. There were a few niggles like the garden lights being intentionally turned off detracting from the atmosphere, penny-pinching in the extreme. Not being able to leave the washing machine or dishwasher on when going out because the electricity fob was locked to the door key, very patronising, especially considering the money paid for rental.the location was excellent and the outside ameneties great. Did think more effort could be put into a welcome basket maybe salt pepper...

"Good equipment, comfortable beds with good mattresses, comfortable large sofa. TV with many international channels - we did not use it, however, because the beautiful view from the terrace was much more attractive. In our opinion, the house is suitable for up to 5 adults. Pon is a very nice and always accessible landlord. We spent a nice time there, even though it was often very windy (as it seems in the whole Mediterranean during that time) and still too cold for a dip in the pool. The area is...

"Kalastous is a beautiful villa complex, peaceful and relaxing. Close enough to the town of Rethymno to go out for dinner and hit the shops as well as a relaxing at the beach, but far enough away to feel the busy town life melt away. Car hire is a MUST, as the roads are slightly challenging at times. A welcome pack to the villa with some essentials (i.e. water, breakfast items) would make this villa absolutely perfect!"

"Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war sauber und es war alles da. Könnte mal renoviert werden und das Haus ist kleiner als es auf den Fotos erscheint. Aber für uns hat es gereicht (6 Erwachsene und 2 Kleinkinder) und dafür waren die lauen Abende unter den Olivenbäumen wunderschön. Die Tavernen im Dorf sind sehr gut, der Supermarkt hat ab 9.00 Uhr frisches Brot. Es war immer jemand erreichbar und alle waren sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank dafür."

"We had the most amazing holiday in Almyrida. Villa Iannis was beautiful and the restaurants served great food. We particularly liked Psaros and Francois. The villa was spotless, the pool was bigger than we anticipated and Jan was so kind, helpful and just very lovely. We will be back! The only issue for us was the layout. You can’t see the pool from the villa and there were a lot of steps but our children are 11 and 14 so it was fine for us. Thank you Jan, Dimitra and the Almyrida team ❤️😊"

"This villa is just as shown in the pictures. It’s located in a small village with well stocked supermarkets and a couple of tavernas all within easy walking distance from the villa. About 15 minutes drive to Rethymno or 30 minutes to the South coast. The management company we’re excellent and easily contactable via WhatsApp or on the house phone. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this lovely villa."
