Charming Studio Cottage located on Easton's Point

Excellent Easton's Point location, just off Tuckerman Avenue. Charming cottage located on a quiet street walking distance to Easton's Beach, 2nd Beach, numerous restaurants, and Newport's scenic Cliff Walk. Only a short driving distance to downtown Newport, several historic mansions and Bellevue Avenue.

This studio style cottage is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood adjacent to an owner-occupied dwelling. It is ideal for a single person, couple or small family (max. 1 older child) coming to enjoy a lovely, relaxing vacation in the Newport area.

Due to the structural set up of the rental (stairs and loft) and the safety of guests we can only have older children, aged 12 and up traveling with their families.

Wonderful!

We had the good fortune to stay in this charming cottage while we were in Middletown for a family wedding. From the booking process till checkout, the experience was excellent. Joan and Tony were warm and gracious and shared fascinating stories about the propertyā€™s history. The unit itself is fantastic! Immaculate. comfortable, and quiet are only three of the adjectives that describe this slice of paradise. We hope to return some day. Thank you both for sharing your space with us!

The cottage is definitely cozy! The loft space is only for the young and nimble, but for two people, the ground level is totally sufficient. The one thing I would have liked is an indoor eating table. There is an outside patio table, but it was too chilly and windy to use it for eating. We used the narrow, low coffee table instead. It worked. We stayed for 10 days.

Perfect Middletown Cottage!

This cottage was just what I needed for a quiet 3-day getaway. Tucked in a peaceful residential area near the beaches and close to Sachuest Point, it offered a great mix of comfort and location. The space was clean, cozy, and had a welcoming feel. What stood out most was how thoughtful the owner was (water in fridge and coffee pods ready for the next morning) and checking in to make sure everything was going well, which really added a personal touch. Itā€™s a perfect spot to recharge and to be so close and convenient to all that Newport and Middletown have to offer. I look forward to staying stay here again!!

Property is exactly as it appears on the vrbo site. Joan was so easy and a delight, she thought of everything in this adorable studio. Wonderful stay

We stayed in this cozy cottage for three nights to attend our nieces wedding. It is close to all the Newport activities. It was so nice to come back to a clean, comfortable, quiet home every day! The host that we met was such a lovely lady. Weā€™ll have to come back to Middletown and stay in this cottage more often in the future!

I highly recommend staying here! Itā€™s clean, easy to check in/out and the host is friendly & helpful. The cottage is located minutes from the beach and is a short drive to all that Newport has to offer.

A corner of paradise

My husband and I stayed for a week in this cozy cottage. Joan was welcoming and helpful in every way, the interior is pleasantly decorated and very well maintained, as is the rest of the property. The kitchen had enough pots and utensils to cook basic meals every day. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were even ironed, better than most hotels or rentals, and the rate is more convenient.The bed in the loft is more suitable for a young person, because there is no room to stand up. The side door leads to a beautifully landscaped area with garden table and chairs, there's also a BBQ grill. The neighborhood is a summer vacation postcard. Overall, great stay.

Quiet Cottage in Lovely Neighborhood

The cottage was perfect for our needs - a college roommate was joining me for a portion of the stay and having two separate sleeping areas worked very well. The kitchen was great for a quick morning breakfast. Beds were comfortable and the cottage was well-appointed. Loved the little patio off the side with a little view of the water. Location is excellent as we were able to take a walk along the water and up to Flo's Clam Shack, Bottega Bocconi cafe, Rejects Beer Co. taproom, and Diego's Cantina all on Aquidneck Ave. Downtown Newport is a 5-7 minute drive away, making this a great spot away from the crowds during the busy season. Joan was a great host, checking in from time to time to ensure we had what we needed. Would be perfect for a couple or even a family of 3.

Perfect, quiet getaway.

The cottage was perfect for us. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The best part was walking to the edge of the water, sitting on the rocks and watching the waves. Very convenient drive to downtown, mansions, Cliff Walk etc.

Nice little cottage next to owners home, quiet residential area, can walk or bike to beach or the restaurant area. Full size frig, oven and microwave, etc. Comfy and convenient. Friendly and helpful owner. We would stay here again.

Perfect retreat

The little cottage was the perfect spot to relax, refresh, and renew while celebrating a friend's retirement. The hosts are very accessible and gracious. The cottage is clean and cozy. There is a wonderful welcome cat and yard bunnies! The back yard seating area is a perfect place for morning coffee. Would recomment this cottage to others!

My wife and I were in Newport for a wedding and found this guest house to be located close to town and the venue. It was clean, quiet, and very close to the beach and Cliff Walk. It had everything we needed, and Joan -- the proprietor -- was very helpful and friendly.
