Peaceful Getaway with 100 Feet of Private Beachfront Access on Lake Huron


Come enjoy a great gateway. Home on the lake! This house (Hardwood Floors throughout) is located on Lake Huron, very clean 3 bedroom house 1,500sf. Only 1.5 hrs driving from Metro Detroit. we have over 100 feet of private sandy beach on Lake Huron. Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly rental available. Weekly rental include the use of our 3 Bedroom house. The house is furnished with log beds and new mattresses. It accommodates up to 10 people. Please call for availability. The house is located 16 miles north of Lexington, Michigan on Lake Huron that offers views of the sunrise. The shallow water is crystal clear and offers the best fishing experience. The private beach to enjoy is right out your front door with 2 decks - Grill - Sandy Beach -Fire pit on beach-- Great Fishing. Enjoy all the comforts of a home for your next vacation without the high cost. over 100 feet beach so you dont have be close with any neighbors.

Lake Huron Getaway

What a wonderful week we had staying at this property - right on Lake Huron! The beach was endless, clean, and heaven for rock collectors! We appreciated having lounge chairs on the beach ready to use. Other than a few minor discrepancies, the property was as described. (The hairdryer was missing and the AC downstairs was not installed in the window - but in fairness to the owner - it has been a chilly spring and early summer) For older guests (as we were), it was somewhat risky on the lower level of steps of the deck as there was no railing to hold onto. I am confident the owner will address this issue. The owner (George) was great to work with. He was always prompt in replying for any and all inquiries. I also enjoyed being able to bring my dog - she enjoyed the vacation as much as we did. I would stay here again.

Peaceful and Tranquil

This cottage was a lovely stay for us. The owner was receptive and answered all my questions quickly. Since it was before peak season we had the beach all to ourselves and didn't see a lot of people the whole week. We took many walks down the beach for treasures. I would advise bringing water shoes because you cannot escape the rocks. All in all ten out of ten.

Nice Place

Very nice summer cottage on the Lake. It was what we expected. We liked the new, updated kitchen. (Stove, fridge, sink, counters) Plenty of pots and pans and dishes so we could cook and eat at the house. We appreciated that. The outside deck and stairs seemed a little run down. They could use a little up-keep. Redo the stairs down to the beach, or shur them up a little more. Give everything a coat of paint. Next time we will come later in the season, perhaps, June or July, when it is warmer. Most of our stay, (May 19-22) it was cold, overcast, and rainy. Over all, we still had a nice visit. Thank you!

Amazing view

The view and beach were awesome! It was so nice to relax and hear the waves crashing. The property was clean and comfortable. Only suggestion is maybe a shelf or something for storage in the bathroom/shower. Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent! The view was amazing!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The view is spectacular and it was very easy to get to the beach even my 79 year old dad could do it. Great host and great place to stay! I highly recommend!

Beautiful Lake Huron!

We wanted a place on the lake and this was the place. The beach was great for us and our pup. Found a great local bar & grill and had a wonderful dinner. Thanks a bunch George!

AMAZING !!!

First off, the house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking !! Beds were comfy and there was even extra bedding if needed. The beach is wonderful - plenty of sand but also rocks for treasure hunting. They had chaise loungers for laying about, and even some floaties for the lake. The host was SUPER accommodating and friendly and if I could give him 12 stars I would !!!!! Thank you !!! Great house on the lake - the waves soothes you to sleep..... love this house and the host !!!!

Perfect Cottage get away

Private Cottage with a great view and relaxing atmosphere. Small town feel yet close to good restaurants and cool bars. We had a great relaxing stay and loved hearing the waves from the lake. Perfect for couples or whole families looking for something intimate and relaxing.

The view was spectacular, location was great with a restaurant in walking distance. Wi-Fi was poor, the stairs going to beach need to be repaired and railings put in, otherwise we loved it.

Great beach family vacation

I arrived with my husband, son, and little poochies. My daughter and her family joined us after a few days. We were all nicely surprised that the cottage was roomier than expected. House was very clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the living and dining areas were roomy and comfortable. I also appreciated having a washer & dryer. We loved the amazing views from the cottage, deck and yard! Beach was very private and great for relaxing or taking long walks. Grandkids loved swimming and playing in the sand. We all enjoyed evening barbeque dinners and then bonfires at night. George was super nice and responsive when I contacted him with any questions. It was a wonderful, relaxing week with my family. We would definitely like to stay again!

Family vacation

All in all this cottage met our family needs. There was plenty of comfortable beds . The kitchen was nice size to be able to cook for everyone. I was happy that they had a washer and dryer, however it was awkward to transfer the clothes from the washer into the dryer due to the fact the doors are in the way. Itā€™s a quick fix by switching the dryer and washer. The only downside that may determine if we rent again is the deck. My older guests chose not to attempt to use the deck to get to the water.It needs hand rails at the lower deck to get to the water. Also the it was very difficult to get cell service. It was pretty spotty for that area.

Our stay

We had a great week at the cottage! Weather was perfect and loved being on the water. Spent a lot of time at the beach. Cottage had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. Came home with clean clothes ā¤ļø. It was easy to communicate with George too. Windows open and having the breeze along with the sound of the ocean was what we were looking for!

Quiet Beachfront House

My husband, 5 year old, pups and I recently stayed at this property and enjoyed every minute of our vacation. Clean home, plenty of room to sleep and hang out. The best part was the the view and access to the beach right out the back door. Our stay was quite with no neighbors on one side of the property. We had the beach to ourselves the whole visit. Bring water shoes as its rocky close to shore but soon smooths out. Check in was easy, host was responsive. If you are looking for a quaint place to staythis is the spot.

Perfect cottage for couple get-away with our pups!

We had such a relaxing time staying at this cottage! The view of the water from the back deck was beautiful, everything was very clean, and the bed was super comfy. The host made sure we had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice lakeside property

Quiet location on the lakefront with easily accessible private beach. Beautiful views. Kitchen well equipped with cooking utensils and cookware. Has both a gas grill and charcoal grill available. Nice deck. Quaint towns within a short drive.

Lakeside dreamy

This was a great place to stay! Right on the water and could have just sat on the beach listening to the waves all day. We wanted an outdoor adventure with lots of beach walking, rock hunting, and beach glass finding. We found just that and so many other parks nearby that you can go to as well.
