We've also contacted a pest control company to address the spiders and insects inside the house. We hope you will be back to Michigan City.

Very surprised to read this review. I spoke to our cleaning lady (the owner) when you informed us of your issue. She went over to the house and showed you where everything was located (even those in our storage area) and that toilet paper and towels were all available in the proper areas. She said you were all appreciative of her visit. This review baffles us as we're not sure how much more we had to do to address your concerns since you got a personal visit right away when we know there was an issue. Since your stay, the property has been refreshed with new paint everywhere and even replaced some furniture.

Thank you for your review. We have refreshed the property with a fresh coat of paint in the entire house and also replaced some furniture, including the mattress you mentioned. We are monitoring our cleaning service closely to ensure we don't have recurring cleaning issues.

Thanks for your review. We have regular exterminator visits and I have asked the cleaning staff to sweep thoroughly. I will have the exterminator out this Wednesday for a special visit to treat the basement (and the rest of the house). Yes - sorry the water heater started leaking - thought it was the air conditioner condensate backing up, but my son noticed the water heater - luckily my guy was able to change it the next day! sorry for the inconvenience! Todd
