Read reviews of the resort before staying here. VRBO is wrong for even having this place listed on their app. Not worth the stay. I feel like these apps need to at least tell you about the resort and the names so you can do research before booking. Stay away I promise you will appreciate what Iā€™m telling you. More money!

Well my family and I first checked in and they told us that they double booked and there were no rooms facing the beach! My husband asked them if they had any other rooms facing the beach for a up charge and of course they did for an additional $100 a night! Then they proceeded to tell me that there is an additional $100 a night for damage deposit (which I told them that I thought we already paid through VRBO) they said oh this is a separate charge since you didnā€™t book directly with us. They said that the credit card would be refunded after 7 days if there was no damage. Then they also charged us $30 a day to park at the hotel which we expected that charge, thatā€™s what most hotels charge for parking. We finally get to our room and it was clean and nice. The couch was uncomfortable to sit on but the beds were comfortable.

It wasn't what it looked like on the site. The restaurant was terrible and hardly open. The property was just cheap. I pulled to open the sliding door ( it was unlocked) and the handle just ripped off. I'm sure I'll have to pay for it which doesn't seem right. The blinds kept falling off. Overall, I'd never stay there again.

The property was clean and felt like a stay at a 2 star roadside hotel that someone would only stay in for one night. The apartment was not the same as the picture and it was not set up as a vacation rental with the proper amenities for a 4 day stay. It does say in the property description that the units are not guaranteed to look like the pictures but this was an understatement. The place was sparse with a bare minimum of decor and comfort. Towels were thin and half the size of a normal towel and the supplies in the kitchen were quite inadequate. It also states that it is a hotel and charges a resort fee and needs a credit card for ā€œincidentalsā€ during the stay. There aren't any ā€œincidentalsā€ that you would think of as what would be in a hotel. There is not a restaurant, room service or bar that someone would have occasion to charge to their room. This credit card is a security deposit. As for the resort fee, it only includes two chairs for the beach and towels. This is very inadequate when the apartment is a two bedroom and could fit four people. We had three and had to purchase a third chair to be at the beach. Overall, the place is fine, if all someone needs is a place to sleep or a bargain place for a family. However, if someone is looking for an apartment with a ā€œresortā€ feel, donā€™t trust the pictures or description and look elsewhere.

We had a two bedroom that was a end unit that faced the city and waterway. A beach view would have been great but watching big boats cruise up and down the waterway was relaxing. It would be nice if you could pick which view you had upon reservation. We had a great time though.

The property was very clean and the staff was friendly. Location was good for our purposes. We were attending the Boat Show so the location worked out well. The property, although very clean, is older and would benefit from some renovations. The carpets in the unit were worn and stained. The towel supply was limited but they did bring us extra when we requested them. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensils but you wonā€™t be making a gourmet meal. Itā€™s fine for making breakfast. Hot water in the showers was an issue. The water never got hot, warm is the better description. The unit we had F-8 was scantily furnished but for us it wasnā€™t a big deal since we spent most of the time at the boat show. The couch is very uncomfortable. Donā€™t plan on sleeping on it. If you are picky about pillows, bring your own. All the linens could use an upgrade. The property is located directly on the beach which was very nice. The pool area also needs renovating but the kids we saw playing in it didnā€™t seem to care. Overall our stay was good especially since we didnā€™t spend much time in the unit. It was more of a place to sleep. The price we paid during the busy boat show season was very reasonable.

Great spot but terrible experience in working with property owner.

The apartment stay was great & reflected the images provided but the property owner was VERY rude in communication when we needed assistance for check-in info the day of arrival. Put a bad taste in our group's mouths as we came to celebrate a joyous occasion. Instead of taking the time to help, the property owner used that time to berate me and automatically discouraged future bookings with this owner.

Location is nice, right on the beach. Very convenient beach access. Note there is no guarantee you will get beach views when booking. Beach views are subject to availability. Seacoast suites is a bit dated of a building with needing repairs and upgrades - which they advertise they are doing but I didnā€™t see that reflected in our room. The rooms blinds were broken upon arrival with missing blinds in one room and wouldnā€™t open in the other. One night we had cold water only in one bedroom. Tried calling the front desk for over 30 min and no one ever answered. Didnā€™t bother to tell management next day as staff was a bit rude. The city view side is loud due to a very busy street located right next to building. Older windows offered little to no sound proofing. Towels and toiletries are supplied and one dishwasher pod but no dish soap. Housekeeping does not come daily but if you call for clean towels they will supply new. There are numerous resort and parking fees associated with this rental which is common with the areaā€¦.but I really didnā€™t see benefits of the ā€œresortā€ fee when there are not much perks associated with it. Just my two cents based on my stay. Encourage future renters to google seacoast suites to see other reviews online for more variety of reviews.

Wonderful!

Iā€™ll begin with the communication with host and check in processā€¦all great! I had questions before arriving and they responded in a quick/appropriate manner. Check In process was easy and I was even able to get in earlier than 4pm when I called to say I would be arriving earlier than expected. This is a wonderful place to stay for all ages. The rooms are clean, stocked with almost all essentials, and itā€™s located in a convenient location. The pool / poolside chairs were great, the beach is clean and also has chairs out there that you have access to, thereā€™s a gym, tennis courts, little outdoor play area for children, and so much more to do outside of the resort. Itā€™s a great for all ages! I highly recommend staying here. Some things that would have been nice to have: Access to more chairs at the beach. We had 4 people on our trip but they only allow 2 chairs per room for free. You can get more for an additional fee though. Thereā€™s no pans for the oven, only for the stove top. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper and shower supplies (soap, shampoo, etc.). Overall, wonderful place to stay!

My CEO enjoyed his trip there for his daughters wish to celebrate her 18th birthday and Thanksgiving in Miami with family. Nice, clean and spacious with beautiful ocean view

The unit I stayed in was very nice. There was plenty of space for 5 adults to maneuver around and not be all over each other. Nice bathrooms, nice size balcony and wonderful view of the ocean. The 24 hour beach access was a bonus!!!!!! I will definitely be staying here again.

The photos on Vrbo are misleading. The room was wasnā€™t very clean. There was what appeared to be pubic hair in the towels in the master bathroom. The toilet stopped up in the guest room and we couldnā€™t get anyone to come unstop it. I called the front desk many times and no one would pick up. I even went down to the front desk and let them know about the bathroom and still no one showed. I was very disappointed with our stay! I wonā€™t be use Vrbo to book anymore trips

Filthy room & unprofessional staff

I had a terrible experience At seacoast suites during the check in process so we never made it to the room. I was allowed to go look at room before check in but to my surprise the room carpet was filthy, had bleach stains all over, couches was filthy & bugs was flying all over from balcony being left open. The receptionist was rude & canceled our reservation before we even decided to stay at property. The host then kept our money for a room we did not stay in. The host was not available for us to talk to but was some how available for receptionist to call. I complained about room being filthy but I was told I complained about view. The host neither did the receptionist listen to what I was explaining to them. They made up their own assumptions to make it look like I was complaining about a view so that they could charge my card for a night we did not stay at. I explained to them that our plane arrived late because of the weather & all I wanted was a clean decent place to rest in. The receptionist went off to the side telling a co worker, ā€œ I was going to do over time but Iā€™m not now.ā€. One of the staff members told me I was going to have to call NBC news to get my money back.

If not for the location this would be a One Star review

Upon our arrival the hotel looked great from the entrance, and that's pretty much where it ended. The front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. It started with them booking us into our room but giving us the wrong keys. When I attempted to go back downstairs, I quickly noticed that the elevator call buttons, both up and down where not functioning which resulted in me taking the stairs. Upon my arrival back to the front desk I informed them of the elevator problem with them giving an acknowledgment and a "oh we will have this taken care of." I received the appropriate keys and proceeded to our room. Once in the room all was well until closer inspection. The door to the balcony was broken and could not be secured, one of the bathrooms had a broken door handle, the recessed lighting in the one bedroom was falling out of the ceiling, and both the balcony door and bathroom doors were splintered and falling apart at the bottoms. The curtains in bother bedrooms at tears and holes in them. All of this is documented with photos, and notifications about the broken doors and lights were made to the front desk multiple times throughout the stay with nothing ever being done. Even the host was notified and claims they made requests for us as well. Day two didn't go much better with one of the bathroom toilets becoming clogged and when I called the desk for assistance I was told someone would be up. this was in the AM, and after returning to the room in the afternoon the toilet was still not fixed. (yes permission to enter the room was given without is there.) On day three the toilet was still clogged and another call was made for assistance with no help again, until the toilet flap broke and started to fill the toilet and flood the bathroom with sewage. Luckily I know how to turn off the water, and calls were made again and an hour and half later the plumber came and fixed the toilet and used all of our towels to soak up the sewage water and then throw them in the shower. when asked it house keeping was coming he advised he did not know. I immediately called the desk who advised that house keeping was to busy and they did not work on Mondays so I was out of luck. I asked for more towels and they said they would put a request in. The cleaning crew and towels never came after several more calls and visits to the front desk. WE HAD TO PURCHASE OUR OWN TOWELS AND CLEANING SUPPLIES! AFTER ALL THIS THEY WAVED RESORT FEES. WHAT RESORT! HA. RENTER BEWARE.

Great Beach

Property needs an update on many levels. Kitchen could be better stocked. A dish towel and a small amount of dishwasher soap would've been helpful. Beach chairs rental is kinda pricey but overall we thoroughly enjoyed being in the sun and the sand.
