Mexico City’s Del Valle neighborhood is one of the nicest, most central areas in the city. It is near Insurgentes Avenue and known for street after residential street as well as for its many parks, wide, tree-lined streets, a few prestigious shopping malls and for Temple of Mary’s Purest Heart, the Mexicana Tower, the World Trade Centre and the Polyforum Siqueiros.This is one of the most beautiful and relaxed neighborhoods in the city, it is picturesque, centrally-located, safe and everything you need is close by. It's nearby a great number of corner stores, cafés, and markets. And if you feel like trying the bar/club scene at night on the weekend, the appartment is only a few Metrobus stops from Condesa and Roma Norte. One other thing most people like about the neighborhood is the diversity of restaurants around; a lot of Venezuelans have moved in, so there are a couple of good Venezuelan food joints. Same with Argentine, Colombian, Japanese and Uruguayan.
I will say that if you’re looking for party and nightlife options, del Valle may not be the place for you. By all accounts, this is a pretty relaxed barrio — there isn't a whole lot going on at night. But if you’re on a tighter budget and want to be reasonably close to Roma or Condesa, del Valle is right next door.
