"Nice beds, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. However, the visit was spoiled by the malfunctioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. There was instead a plastic fan avaialble which perhaps proves that the staff were aware of of issue. They did offer to see if they could place us in another room but that would mean re-packing again in the middle of the night, so we just had to put up with it. Really uncomfortable night with a 3 year old!"

"It was very spacious. Beautifully maintained. Room was lovely. Bed very comfy. Iron and ironing board. The Breakfast was gorgeous both mornings. Very good value. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking fine. Interesting prom night when I arrived Friday. Very entertaining. Went next door to spa Friday night. Day pass for £15 pool and gym. Lovely."

"The hotel is in a transition phase - they're in the midst of a reboot/refurb so things are still a bit up and down, though they did seem to be trying their best. I stayed in one of the finished rooms and everything was just as you would expect. Unfortunately the hotel was overbooked so my colleague had to stay in one of the incomplete rooms. This did not at all match the description or pictures and was an experience to say the least. I would make sure that they have not overbooked and that...

"The room was lovely,clean and comfortable.The provision of a fan was much needed and made the night bearable in the heat. Breakfast was excellent,food freshly cooked and plentiful and the usual range of cereals, fruit and pastries. Suite 15 is directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan which is on from before 5.00am until the kitchen closes at night & can easily be heard in the room. "A gem of a hotel tucked well away in it's own extensive grounds. We were upgraded to one of the 5 suites which was extremely spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. We will definitely stay again."
