Arranged over two floors, this peaceful escape features traditional style wood beamed ceilings and a terracotta tiled roof. On the ground floor visitors will find the original wine cellar once used to store tools. This area is furnished with a rustic dining table and opens onto the private garden and a covered terrace perfect for family meals. The garden enjoys a children\'s play area and is surrounded by acres of vineyards providing a tranquil space to relax and unwind.
The first floor features a cosy open plan living space furnished with a sofa bed, a flat screen digital HDTV and a dining table. This area also incorporates a simple kitchen fitted with; a cooker hob, an oven, an electric kettle and a fridge.
There’s also a spacious balcony with an incredible view of the surrounding area, furnished with an outside dining table and chairs this is the perfect spot for leisurely alfresco mealtimes.

Location
The property is located near the Croatian border in the White Carniola region of Southeast Slovenia. Characterised by rolling hills, lush fields, forests and the Kolpa River, offering excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. If you like walking and cycling, you will find many marked and arranged paths. The Kolpa also offers opportunities for swimming and canoeing and guests can also reach Krupa River Spring within a 20-minute drive
The surrounding area is a paradise for wine enthusiasts. The Otmar Šturm Winery is a 6-minute drive and Vinska klet Prus a 9-minute drive, where visitors can learn about the area’s winemaking traditions. The closest restaurants are within a 10-minute drive and there is a supermarket in the historic town of Metlika a 10-minute drive away.
The region is also home to several historical attractions including; the medieval hilltop Gradac castle (a 15-minute drive away) which provides incredible views of the surrounding countryside and the historic town of Črnomelj (a 13-minute drive) known for its rich cultural heritage, architecture and beautiful natural surroundings.
